Not that they needed the extra pages to kill Splinter - I think that took all of 3.

Yeah, I didn't remember it being very in-depth but it's all I can recall that might have made #10 more pages than others.

Something that I've always wondered: is there a meaning for the inclined (oblique?) "j" in the word "ninja" in the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics logo?

Can anyone tell me what, if any, extras are included in the 2009 FCBD reprint of issue #1? Intro by Peter? Gallery? Anything?

Yeah there's an intro by Peter, that's all as far as I can remember.

I have a question about the IDW Mikey micro, did we ever find out who those thieves were working for?

You know what would be cool, if the guy they're working for is Null.

How many?
How many of the Color Classics will there be?
Not all of the original comics were in black and white correct? Someone clear this up for me? |

Here is a list:
TMNT Volume One (1984 - 1993) BLACK AND WHITE TMNT Volume Two (1993 - 1995) COLOR TMNT "Volume Three" (1996 - 1999) BLACK AND WHITE TMNT Volume Four (2001 - 2009) BLACK AND WHITE Tales of the TMNT (1987 - 1989) BLACK AND WHITE Tales of the TMNT Volume Two (2004 - 2010) BLACK AND WHITE The only series that was in colors is Mirage's volume 2 (13 issues), all the rest was originally in black and white. We still don't know how many Color Classics there will be but they are likely to go on till #11 at least. This is not the first time these stories are presented in color: between 1986 and 1988 First Comics Inc. released four full color books collecting the first eleven issues of volume one plus Leonardo #1. My opinion is that they were better colored than the new ones. |

Is there any difference between the First full color TMNT graphic novels and the reprints with the same covers by Penguin?

My #11 comic has 6 pages that are stuck together.
They are all in one piece of paper, like they didn't get cut, definitley a defect from the press and cutting time. It's the bottom right corners. They are uncut, and stuck together. Is this rare? Or a common thing for Mirage back then? |

I'm not sure it's common for any companies really, but it does happen now & again (or at least used to back in the day). I had an Archie TMNT issue like that.

Perhaps this was already discussed in the Mirage continuity thread, but has it ever been made known why the turtles returned to Northampton after the events of "Return To New York"? Is it because they still didn't have a new lair and considered it their permanent home? Apparently they only returned to New York to redeem their honor with the Shredder?

They seemed to have established a new lair in the sewers, though there was never any issue acknowledging that they made one. They were just shown to be living in *a* sewer lair which couldn't be the original since they gave that to Leatherhead. The Foot was shown to still be on the look out for them even after #21, so I guess they spent time in Northampton to get a break from being pursued by the Foot. Just a guess, though. |

I never had a chance to get the infestation tmnt comics. Would you guys recommend I read the whole infestation series or would I be fine just purchasing the 2 tmnt comics from the infestation series. I don't read any of the other comics from the series besides Ghostbusters, which I don't believe are featured in Infestation 2. Ive seen the nice hardcover edition of the complete series which I thought about getting until I realized the turtles are only in part of the story. Will I be missing out on anything by just reading the tmnt infestation comics? Thanks

Nope, the 2 TMNT books can be read by themselves.

Is IDW eventually going to collect/publish the Image Volume 3 series into trade paperbacks? I ask because I am very much curious about the series but am not in a hurry to read them. If they plan on collecting them into trades, I'd rather wait on those (even if it'd be a couple of years) rather than seeking out a full issue run of the series.

If sale support the reprinting of the old stuff that far, then yes, Volume 3 is on the slate; just don't expect it for a couple of years - or more.
