4th wall jokes related to the Olsen Twins absence. A couple of dirty jokes related to why Jesse and Becky did not have kids after the twins. The one as to why Jodi gets men was uncalled for. Nicky and Alex are pretty much John Belushi in Animal House. I expected more of them. They really just triggered a gag with Becky wanting a baby because they failed once they went to college and only learned to surf out of it. Hope they get to develop more and we get more filled in on them since pre-school. Teri, Danny's second wife is just a background character. Some of her dialogue seems like something Vickie would say. A true same they could not get Fail Edwards for a few minutes of screen time. She and Bob had true chemistry. Teri just seems like a personal cheerleader for Danny aside from some of Vicky's dialogue. Comet Jr. Jr? A girl too? Comet Jr and lady dog he got pregnant maybe. I see the only way to have sequel series opposed to a reunion movie is to have D.J.'s husband dead so that would mean Steve would be dead which fans would not like so they have to get together after a marriage is under their belts to others. Hope they can still work. Mr. Woodchuck is replaced. Cool. Joey made it in Vegas with regular comedy shows. Danny and Becky are just moving into the national format. Long overdue! Wake Up! USA! Jesse the composer of General Hospital. Nice touch on referencing his past. Jesse and Becky moved out in 1998. Hope we get to see some of Michelle's friends if we don't get to see her. Real corny, touching, self-aware. Pretty good. Like I said I would have preferred a reunion movie, but this is nice too. Technology change nods make me feel old being the same age as the series. Watched episode 2. It had some echoes of the first and second episodes. References to Becky's inept cooking ability. Jesse and Becky have a dog? Comet Jr. perhaps? Definitely a different scene than we are used to seeing Jesse driving down the free way. Jackson does not appreciate Elvis. The Rippers? Did they patch things up with Jesse? I will watch episode 3 tomorrow afternoon. Hope it is successful. Btw, the first episode is 36 minutes long, but the others appear to be 25. So is it 25 minutes and if ever necessary the first episode can be broken into two?

Yeah. A couple years ago they had a reunion on the Jimmy Fallon show.

I know. I meant within FH continuity as sketchy as it can be at times.

the truth
this thing doesnt get good until the 3rd episode. 1st is corny as hell, second one sucks as does the last episode and the 2nd to last episode isnt that great either all the rest are good though. i'd say it's a "good" show.
Fuller house recognized that it's audience is adult and made sure to hit that dempgraphic. it's a series of adult oriented jokes with some kiddie stuff thrown in. it tries to focus on some 'real' issues as well. and yeah that's pretty much it. |

I'm enjoying it. Seen some articles giving it hell, but whatever. I'm good with it.

I enjoyed it for what it was
Question though: Was Full House always so song and dance oriented? Like I remember Jesse and the Rippers, and the constant Beach Boys guest stars, but I don't remember it being in every episode as it was here. |

Cool. I am only through 4 right now, but have a good idea of what lies ahead. Could we expect Stephanie to find the one and we get a male Becky analog? Perhaps Michelle's friends show up if not Michelle herself? I hope they can cement the whole DJ/Steve thing instead of teasing it if only went the sequel ride near its end.

Glad Fuller House got renewed. Wonder if the Olson's will show up? Gonna be a bit before they even start filming tho as Jodie's on the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars.

I read something about Jodi teasing it. New reports suggested she was campaigning to get asked. Glad to see its official. SO this is three FH cast members to make it on the show along with Candace and Dave.

well
it would have had to been a monumental failure for it not to get a 2nd season. Now getting a 3rd season will be based completely on how good it is.
The Olsen twins said they wanted to see if it was good before they signed on, so they should be in season 2 |

I saw this aired on The Late Show. Looks like the gang appear on all the late night shows though have the best relationship with Fallon.

My thoughts exactly. Did Joey have to die though? He has always been my least favorite, but come on.

Stamos won out over Franklin making the show more adult oriented. Now, serval people are calling Candace out specifically and want her to have it dialed down. I confess I had issue with the constant drinking after the anti-alcohol message and the fact Pam was killed by a drunk driver. Also, well placed adult jokes are good, but not an excessive amount. I do feel the complaints are a bit much, but it could be dialed down a little.
