Yes, I always hated what they did to her, and want April to have a normal human female friend. I miss the days when April was at least living SOMEWHAT of a normal life, going to school, etc.

The Kraang thing upset me a lot. The only reason she was put in the first place was to appease the OT fans, but ended up pissing those fans off with the twist. While it did shock everyone's cores, it also felt like a cop-out. Honestly, this show needs more female and human main characters that aren't mutants and aren't love interests. Because, honestly, it's starting to get stale fast.

I voted yes, but only as somebody no longer alive, who Kraang Subprime copied the look off of.
It would be cool if the Turtles traveled back in time to 1920s New York and saw the real Irma, who actually ends up being one of Casey's ancestors. |

Why would the Kraang have a Robot based on some obscure person from the 1920's?

^^^Ditto!
This is the last time I am going to say this..... LET IT GO! It's official that Irma is not coming back! She was a Kraang disguised as a teenager. She's never going to come back. Why is it so hard for you people to process this through your heads?! If you want her so badly then go watch the ****ing OT, for God's sake! Jesus, nostalgia blinds you people. |

Considering there was never a human Irma on the show to begin the question is a lie.
I liked the fact that April got a human friend other than Casey. And yes Kate Micucci is adorable, but I don't see it happening without feeling contrived and tacked on so no. Sorry Irma, I was a fan of your design, character arc and all, but she was just a KRAANG in disguise and it'd be stupid to bring in a "real" Irma at this point. Just like it was kinda stupid to bring a "real" Shredder in the 2K3 cartoon. That season wasn't really needed and added very little. Just like a real Irma would. As for Metawolf's "the Turtles traveled back in time to 1920s New York and saw the real Irma, who actually ends up being one of Casey's ancestors" bit. well...

I always think that Irma is being hold by the Kraang in status somewhere. Maybe Dimension X.

Um...no.
I'm going to continue to hope for things I enjoy about the show to return to the show, regardless of how lost a cause it is. Like a Bebop that isn't insufferable, or good nuanced writing.

How can a show "return" to things that it never even had to begin with?

I dunno, I thought the first season was really well made.
Funny and irreverent when the situation called for it, serious with decent stakes other times. Even with its flaws, because nothing is perfect, I'm still proud to have season one on my dvd shelf.

They were pushing Don/April down my throat from Episode I. This show was NEVER very good. It's good at presenting itself to its audience and giving them enough to satisfy. But that's entirely different from "Good". This fanbase will swallow *almost* anything as long as the characters' names are spelled right.
It has its moments, but for me, there's a lot more bad than good.
