If it's as violent as John Wick I'll give it a shot.

Sounds interesting. They should be creating a cinematic universe with John Wick and Atomic Blonde though.

I want to watch Atomic Blonde first and make sure it doesn't suck before I go rallying behind it.

Is John Wick the only memorable thing Keanu Reeves did since the Matrix ended in 2003? I know he was in some Costantine movie but I never saw it, and I thought Man of Tai-Chi felt like a made for TV movie.
Weird, I always thought Keanu Reeves was more popular but he's nowhere on the level of other late 90's or 2000's actors like Tom Cruise, Leonardo Dicaprio or Matt Damon. |

I haven't seen it yet myself. It's at 74% on Rotten Tomatoes at the moment if that's your thing. So not John Wick quality, but it sounds like a good time.

Eh, to be directed by Len Wiseman?
http://www.darkhorizons.com/len-wise...wick-spin-off/ Also, I guess we've already seen the character (briefly) in JW3. Huh.

OMG that is a great idea. But I think Atomic Blonde was sourced from a comic book, so it's unlikely that this could be done. |

Didn't much care for Atomic Blonde, it ended up. It had its moments, though.

It's been a couple of years now but I think it was just pretty slow for me. And very predictable.

I liked it in the theaters, bought it as an early 4k eyecandy release. The musical cuing in it is pretty good, and the fights were brutal. To the film's credit, Theron is able to be believable as a super model fighter, whereas it is often totally ludicrous seeing a rail thin chick doing dance choreography in a fight scene and we are supposed to suspend disbelief. So Atomic Blonde was great in that regard.
But that aside? You guys are right, that movie really drags in moments, especially upon a second viewing. |

What movie I did really like? "Anna." That was much closer to what I was expecting with "Atomic Blonde." I'd love to see her show up in the John Wick-verse. There really was some twists in that I maybe should have but did not see coming.

From a few months back, but it looks like that casting was confirmed.

And not only is this a John Wick spinoff... but Keanu Reeves is in it and has action scenes with Ana de Armas.
https://www.darkhorizons.com/de-arma...n-off-filming/ And it's almost done shooting.
