The amount of influence that this place would have on the success of TMNT is zilch. We aren't important enough. We are not worth the time/money, and the current overlords of Nick would in all likelihood consider this place toxic, whether we feel it is or not. There may have been a plant here once, I don't know. Maybe you're right about that.
But I am confident they aren't hanging around and trying to influence us.

The idea of plants being here is funny. I hope it stays. But not to the point where we try to disregard people who have a different opinion with "plant". That's lame. This place isn't toxic, but that sure does lower the discourse.
I think there are some overzealous people that arrive here, so I can see where the temptation comes from.

Oh I agree with all of this.... And arguably almost any post you received on social media in the last four years which assaulted you for not liking a movie had a high likelihood of being an industry shill, bot or marketer.

And it is possible here too, but if they are here they are ineffective as hell. Vitriol against "trolls" as a tactic only works when you've swarmed a platform with comparative levels of toxic-positivity. The last time we saw that here was when whoever made some push to force everyone to like Rise. It didn't work.

as for the bay movies, I don't recall anyone hating on people who DISLIKED the film. I do recal alot of fun trashing the plants though.
