8 Years of Nick Turtles today

The TMNT twitter posted 8 years of my favorite version of the Turtles. 8 years ago we got the one of the best versions of the turtles in 2012

Hopefully for the 10th anniversary they give it a movie or special.

Probably not. Or where are:

The 1997 Fred Wolf movie?

The 2007 Next Mutation movie?

The 2013 4 Kids movie?

The show is done. It is unlikely to return.

I wouldn't count it out of being revisited for a movie or special around the 10th anniversary. Nick could cash out on the nostalgia of all the kids who grew up with this series (most are in High School now), and they still have all the CG models and Ciro has wanted to return to the series for a movie.

Basically, never say never. It'll also forever be remembered as Nick's first TMNT cartoon, so it'll basically always be the most remembered over whatever the following Nick cartoons wind up being depending what comes after Rise.

The show was ok, it was good for a one time watch. But it wasn't anything that I'd want to watch over and over again like the 4Kids series.

The least-bad thing to come out of the Nick sale, I guess. Yay.

I can think of other members on here who liked it, just not much activity now.

I tried. I just couldn't get into it. Too many questionable choices and not one of them justified themselves over the course of time, in my opinion.

Potential was there, but WAY too much "different for Different's Sake." Not everything was bad, but the bad parts were really bad.

I dipped in and out, but every time I caught a few episodes it just turned me off again and reminded me why I wasn't following it regularly. I bought the first couple DVDs but I don't think I ever even watched them.

No, I agree, I watch it every day and made several fan comics.
