i thought it was funny when mirage Raphael scared 2k3 Shredder when he jumped on his face. that's something i didn't expect to happen at all

i really liked the movie. i thought it was the best thing they could have possibly done for the 25th anniversary.

I'd give it a 9/10. i wish it was longer and also i wish the mirage turtles were in it longer, and the mirage shredder should have tried to team up with the 2k3 shredder.

Rewatching it now. Time for a Jester pointillistic review!

* The 4Kids Turtles grab a screen shot of the FW Turtles fighting the Purple Dragons from the Channel 6 report. Leo asks who they are fighting and Donnie enhances one of the PD's arm. Why not enhance the odd creatures, too?

*Are these Purple Dragons noobs that don't recognize that these aren't their Turtles?

*Let see....Mikey's "Somebody else" joke. Raph's line. OK, save the "Good one, bros!" Ok. Donnie's "phone call" joke. Ok. Mikey's "Pizza delivery" joke. Ok, save the chorus on "PIZZA DELIVERY!" and the laugh.

*How often did the Turtles and Shredder fight over "ooze?"

*Did the mutagen change properties between universes?

*FW Turtles rarely call each other shortened names or "bro."

Now that I start this.... I really don't wanna finish. Mainly because I don't wanna hog the TV.

Actually, I'm pretty sure none of the Turtles called each other by their shortened, informal names in the original show. That's one of its little distinctive quirks.

Just got round to watching my UK DVD version on the big screen.
First off, the presentation was good n bright. Looked excellent.

The main event for me was the sound. Great mix. And the best was the end.. The title theme mega mix was worth the price of admission alone.

The movie gets some negative reviews, but I love it.

Watching Secret of the Ooze bluray now, just because!!!

Yeah they botched that up in Turtles Forever. You're right tho, the FW turtles NEVER went by shortened names. I think once Donatello called Michaelangelo "Mikey" in the OT. I always wondered why they didn't shorten their names as all the later versions did.

I think it was in Usagi Yojimbo. I remember being shocked when I rewatched, because the FW Turtles NEVER use the shortened names.

Realistically, though, they'd call each other by the abbreviated names, like literally everyone with a name longer than two syllables does. Especially since they're brothers and live together; if my brother absolutely insisted I call him "Donatello" every single time I addressed him, I'd start calling him "Bob" just on principle.

Well there was that episode, I think it was "Burne's Blues" when Burne & Vernon get captured by mobsters, who look like they're going to take guns out of their coats, but they take out feathers and tickle them.

Make a crossover with the new Turtles and the old 80's cartoon turtles on the same episode was a good idea, but I think the turtles from the original series were overacted too much. In the original they were very childlike, of course, but not said so many stupid things like in this episode.

Anyway, the episode is pretty cool.

I guess we'll have to see if that's a running theme when the "80's turtles" cross over with the Nick ones, albeit for just a brief moment.

I would love to see that!!!
Im sure that Nick Mikey would be overly excited! and Donnie too...he would nag OT Donatello about inventions and stuff

I know people tend wanna place Turtles Forever at the end of the FW run...but doesn't FW's Mikey's use of his nunchucks place it early in the run?

Since when do people place Turtles Forever at the end of Season 10? It's clearly set somewhere around Season 3 or 4, the Channel 6 building is still standing and Shredder/Krang are comedic and incompetent.

Your right...I must have been thinking 4Kids...which stands to reason only because of the models. I just wish we saw Serling's exit.

This was a terrific sendoff for 4kids. Although I agree with 2k3 Raph concerning the 87 turtles. It's like having 5 Mikeys now! I've been rewatching the OT and the turtles may be comedic at times, but here they seem like they got shot with the 24-7 goofy ray. 87 Don was certainly smarter than depicted here etc. Loved seeing the technodrome again along with S and K as well as the henchmutants. The fight scenes and plot were excellent. It felt a little like the 90's Spider-Man finale sans the cliffhanger. One of my favorite lines was delivered via ot Shredder before leaving for their home dimension. Yeah it was the one about the giggle ray. Bebop and Rocksteady used a stolen anxietron ray, so why not? If only they'd release an uncut version on DVD some day. I still haven't bought the aired version and don't plan on doing so. The 4kids series was fantastic and it sure went out on a high note.

Has anyone thought by now they release the full uncut blu ray version by now? I have the Aussie version glad I didn't wait and bought it. (Even the season sets).

You guys over there in Australia have Back To the Sewer and Turtles Forever: Uncut? Whaaaat?! Oh man, yet another reason why AUS is awesome. Been thinkin about buying a Region-- uh 4 I think, DVD player so I can just complete my flippin collection already! Maybe Nick will get around to releasing the rest of the 2k3 show one of these days. Really loved the uncut version of this movie. I wish they'd give us the option of watching it in movie format or 3 individual parts similar to the way Shout!factory did with all the multiparters in their Transformers complete series/season sets.

I think you can get a Region-free player on Amazon for like 40 bucks. My wife was debating it. I just care about that last season of TMNT we never got. I seriously thought Ninja Tribunal was the last thing I needed to get, only to find (over $80 later) there was still one more season, and it never came out over here. Infuriating.

I want to do a marathon run so bad, but I want to have the actual ending of the series before I do it.

The only reason I never bought this was because I was never sure what I would be ordering.

Plus my BluRay player can play DVDs but I'm not sure if it can do any region or if it's locked.
