Thought this was one of the best episodes yet. Funny as hell and the fights were really well choreographed. I love Mr. Murakami, too.

The face of Michelangelo as seen in Ninja Turtles('87) was a great easter egg. Made my day! "I just blew your minds, right?" Well he did mine though the premise was stupid.
One thing I can never precieve as a threat in a superhero show is a common thug that is why I nevered cared for Hun much or gangs like the Purple Dragons. If a common villian is going to be shown why not the mob instead. Perhaps its apart of my preference. So the way to take down The Norris is to sneak attack him, triple team him, and trap him in a trashcan? Even at 72 it seems like it will only work in theory!

Yeah this is definitely one of my favourite episodes so far.
Great characterization, great battles, great humour...and I loved the message and how it all came around at the end. I just want to hug the writers, they are doing an amazing job!!!!

Best episode yet! The fact that both this episode and "New Friend Old Enemy" seem to be fan favorites so far should ensure that we get to see some more Xever/Bradford episodes in the future.
This show keeps getting better and better. |

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Mr. Murakami is Sab Shimono. If I'm right, he's yet another returning TMNT actor. What would we be up to then, 4? Paulsen/Don, Richardson/Shredder, and Welker/Rockwell previously?

I'm terrible. I was about the ask, "Who did Welker do before Rockwell?"
Then it hit me....Tokka and Rahzar, ya mook!

Also: I caught the credits. He was Shimono, so I was right. I love when I can do that

Nolan North is in the show too voicing the Kraang. He was Raphael in the 2007 film.

This isn't due to air in the UK tomorrow for whatever reason. I think NickUK is taking a break already.
Will try and catch this through other means. Don't want to fall behind. |

I have to admit, I am still being impressed with each new episode and I am so relieved that Nickelodeon isn't destroying the franchise like I first feared they would. Mikey seems to genuinely make me laugh at least once in every episode (at least 3 seperate times in this episode), yet the humor is balanced out so nicely by the nice fight scenes. While I am still unable to place the Nick show above the 2003 series, it has already far surpassed the 80's toon (for me at least) simply because it does such a great job balancing those two elements out. The "Spiderbite" villain was really the only character in this show so far who embarassed me with how ridiculous he looked, but everything else has been coming together quite impressively (and I am getting more used to the anime effects even though I am still not a fan of them). I really hope that Nickelodeon will give this series a proper DVD release in the near future (since I know they have problems releasing good DVDs of a lot of their shows). If they do, I will definitely be buying it (this episode even inspired me to buy the 2013 calendar today).

This was an awesome episode. I was so excited to see it, and I wasn't disappointed. The lesson about mercy was really well done and I liked how the Purple Dragon repaid Leo's act of mercy by giving him his sword back. While I'm glad that Space Heroes didn't play a role in this, I sort of expected it to, but it definitely shows that Leo wants to do his own thing and not just emulate Captain Ryan. Also, I thought that maybe he'd spare Xever and that it would haunt him later, but I liked how they played it with the PD guy instead. I can't wait to see what Shredder does next week, and I love Xever and Bradford. They hate each other so much and yet they both have the same goal. And Murakami rocks. I want to try to make pizza gyoza.
Fave quotes: April: Can you guys speed it up? Don: Are you saying turtles are slow? Mikey: That's a hurtful stereotype. Leo: Freeze, dirtbags. Splinter: To show mercy is not weak. It shows true strength and compassion. Splinter: A 16th century Daimyo once said, 'In times of war, there must be peace. In times of peace, there must be war.' Raph: That guy must've lost a lot of wars. Leo: So? Say it. Raph: All right. You were right. Leo: See? That wasn't so bad. Raph: Your wimpiness can be kind of useful. Leo: Oh, I'll show you wimpy. No mercy! *tackles Raph* Overall, a really great episode. I can't wait for the next one and to see what Shredder does.
