The first film was a borefest outside the monster fights, and even those weren't that good either. One of the most overrated films in recent memory.

I still haven't seen the first one, but if CC hates it, it's almost definitely good.

And yeah I'll throw my vote out there for Hellboy 3 as well. I heard some scuttlebutt recently but you know how people talk.

Oh heck yeah. So pumped for the series and the sequel movie which is kind of funny as I was originally unsure about seeing the first film at the cinema until biting the bullet and checking it out. Glad I did.

I'm still skeptical this movie happens. I mean, I hope it does but I'll kind of believe it when I'm sitting in the theater.

So not only did it get delayed but the lead characters got replaced...I think I will pass on this one. It's bad enough Del Toro will not be directing it but now the two main characters won't even be the focus if they are even alive.

Something seems very off about that trailer but I can't put my finger on it. Maybe an overcompensation for the complaints received about the original being "too dark"?

And what the hell, Rinko Kikuchi is just around as some token suit behind the scenes, not piloting a Jaeger anymore? Lame! Also, what's with Scott Eastwood forever popping up as "this guy" here and there in various franchises? He's not terrible but he's always painfully "average."

The only thing I don't like about the trailer is the song they play for most of it.

There were two things I didn't like about this trailer, one is that the mechs don't move like they are over 500 meters tall, one of the things I love about the first one is that for every movement they make you get a sense of scale and weight, here they seem to move like ninjas. Another thing is that I feel as if the Jaegers are too similar looking compared to the 1st movie.
