First Zod becomes Doomsday and now Ultaman becomes Bizarro. As few Superman foes that have appeared onscreen why merge them? I understand that origin ms are different in films, but folding separate characters together doesn't work for me. Not official for Ultraman devolving into Bizarro, but that is what it looks like.

It's like when they inexplicably merged Whiplash and the Crimson Dynamo in Iron Man 2. Literally made no sense to do that at all - the story wouldn't have changed at all... -waits for someone to argue this-

I hated Iron Man 2 so much for a variety of reasons, the one you mentioned was a lesser problem.

Is it bad that I wish there was at least Marvel movies as good as Iron Man 2 these days? Or across the board CBM wise? Like Shazam 2 or Blue Beetle or Black Adam wasn't even as good as Iron Man 2.

Live-Action wise I might agree. Overall though, I don't know. I watched the second Miles Morales-Spider-Man last week and I thought it was fantastic.

It looks like Green Lantern: Earth One will be the visual inspiration for this. Which was awful.

All the years the fanbase wanted Nathan Fillion as GL - perfect casting for decades.

And now they do it, and of all the Lanterns to make him it's Guy Gardner?!?! And... in that outfit?!?

About 5 people are right now going, "Yay! Krypto!" and the rest of the world is going, "Wtf is this?! A Superdog?"

It's probably cause the suit will be green cgi. You think they'd learn from the Ryan Reynolds movie....

I really didn't care about this movie at all but seeing Krypto on it..I'm kind of sold. I still think it'll bomb but it looks like it'll be a fun DC Universe Superman story. I'm getting All Star Superman vibes except without superman dying. But like a tribute to who the character is.

That's what James Gunn is using for the basis of this movie

This movie seems to be making the same mistake as the previous DCU, skipping proper intros and just having these superheroes exist from the getgo. Instead of Superman Legacy they might as well have called it JL Legacy or something. How more cameos or characters are we expected to get into this thing? And why not just make it.... a movie about Superman?

I feel the people think Superman as-is is boring and they have to throw in some sort of extra hook to bring people in. And that's a shame.

It's not Superman: Legacy. The subtitle was dropped over a year ago.

And nobody complained when the MCU skipped Peter Parker's origin.

Hell, Black Widow and Hawkeye didn't get origins when they were introduced in Avengers. Natasha had to wait until her last movie to get an origin.

A lot of people complained when they never bothered to go back and fill it in. The general understanding/handshake was that, "OK, cool, we're not getting the Uncle Ben/'with great power,' etc. thing out of the gate, great, we don't need it... but eventually they HAVE to circle back to that, right?"

But they never did. Then made it Aunt May. Weird.
