Correct me if i'm wrong but, I don't believe that Splinter ever gave the notion that he never heard of the Kraang before. He probably notified the turtles of alien existence, but I doubt he knew exactly what the Kraang were. As for the second part of your question, I doubt he was a target. He and the Kraang most likely had this lone confrontation that only lasted one night (or a few hours) and didn't foil any part of the Kraang's future plans. I doubt that's enough to become a target of the Kraang. I mean, Tiger Claw and Alopex broke out of a Kraang Prison and they weren't targets. The turtles consistently foiled the Kraang's plans time and time again and they stopped the abduction of April, making them prime enemies of the Kraang.

It's weird it took this long for the toddler Turtles ep to be made. These toys came out in the Season 1 era.

This feels like an episode we should have gotten in Seasons 1 or 2, not at the very end of the show.

The baby Turtle designs look, as anime fans call them, "kawaii" and "chibi."

This is terminology from the anime fandom. Us western fans may not be familiar with these terms.

They're not "chibi" if they're actual toddlers.

Those are neither "Chibi" nor "Kawaii" those are like Rosemary's baby turtles. The eyes creep me out.

I have to agree with JmanTurtleman. Its an odd choice of presentation given how prominently and differently the eyes are shown in the teenage versions. It almost takes away their humanity a little... shaving away your soul a little at a time.

Like most real life toddlers really.

Plus JmanTurtleman referenced Jaws, so I'm obliged to agree

Yeah, they feel soooo ...... Emotionless w/ black eyes and that's saying a lot since I like their pupil-less eye look

I think the eyes are pretty cute as well.

Its kinda the opposite of 4kids where the turtles had large cartoony eyes as children but grew up to have pure white eyes (except when their masks are off)

On the other hand, these turtles have the detailed, colourful eyes as adults (except when fighting) and as babies, their eyes are almost pure black.

Don't know if the parallel was intentional, but I still think its cool nonethless.

Awesome! I can't wait for "Lone Rats & Cubs" to debut! Also, I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but during the latest TMNT episode ("Osoroshi No Tabi"), as the turtles and Usagi were making their way through the forest, Jei made a secret, concealed appearance. Take a look.

Pretty cool, right? Not sure if many people recognized this.

ooooo dang!!! i figured that jei was keeping a close eye on them cause he didnt want "his pawns" to die without completing his tasks but that takes his overseeing to a whole new level....
