17,232 Movies! World's Largest Collection
https://m.ebay.com/itm/17-232-Movies...%257Ciid%253A3
Looks like the collector has added some since posting the YouTube video of 15,000. You can buy the 17,232 on eBay for best offer. The video starts with a blank screen but it does work. |

What’s the point of even putting that up on Ebay?
Nobody’s ever gonna buy all that. Guess they did it just for kicks. It’d be hilarious if someone actually bought that collection. Watch the seller freak out and try to find a way to move all that around. |

If someone got the lot for a dollar per movie. A person could quadruple their money perhaps. Lots of sealed box sets and Blu-ray Discs. Especially if it was a local buyer. But yes it seems unlikely to be purchased, very daunting project.

I’m easily impressed I suppose. The most rare movie I recently heard about is ‘Heavy Metal Massacre.’ Around 100 copies of the VHS sold in the back of an 80’s metal magazine iirc. Oh and ‘Song of the South.’ What are some other lost/rare movies?

There's plenty of lost movies from the early days of Films, like the very first Dracula movie from 1920, or the Japanese King Kong movies that predates Godzilla. Like, 80% of movies from the Silent Era is lost.
Somewhere in a private collection, there gotta be a complete copy of London After Midnight |

There's 2 other Dracula movies that predates Nosferatu and they use the name Dracula unlike Nosferatu which was a unlicensed product. The first Dracula movie allegedly is a Russian movie from 1920 and then there's the Hungarian movie Dracula's Death which does not follow the plot of the novel but does its own thing. |
