I guess my wanning interest caused me to forget.

As for the Dear John Letter it was one of the first times I noticed something that is out of character and was wise to the fact, oh Kimberly's actress left so they can't have them in a long-distance relationship so thry put her replacement as a replacement girlfriend. I knew about long-distance relationships thanks to growing up with Full House and mad that Danny and Vicky were not allowed to be together.

I'm glad I am not the only one who thought the Youth Center/ Juice Bar was attached to the high school. I was feeling dumb about that one. It seemed plausible because it was not uncommon for school events to be held there. Not to mention my alma mater has a pool which is closed off from the main building and accessible to the public through a unique entry and I know of another high school that had a Juice and Coffee Bar so it is plausible.
I said I wished I could have seen the Machine Empire in PRIS more, but I also hoped that for Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa. Then we don't see them again until the end. I guess it was just the writers' way of phasing out the villain factions.

I never thought the juice bar was attached to the school, although I thought it was strange that the school's events were always held there. One thing I used to wonder though, if the Surf Spot was the juice bar remodeled, or if they're two different places. "Once and Always" confirmed it's the latter, but it's odd that the teens ditched the juice bar for the Surf Spot without any explanation. Now it just seems like a lame way of writing out Lt. Stone. I even wonder what happened with the actor leaving the show.

Tom Wyner, who voiced characters in Power Rangers such as General Havoc, Furio, Goldgoyle, and various monsters, has passed away at the age of 77. He also co-wrote "Green with Evil part II: Jason's Battle" with Cheryl Saban and Stewart St. John, and "Calamity Kimberly" with Julianne Klemm. He even voiced the Samurai Fan Man from "Calamity Kimberly".

Fresh rumours about Hasbro's cheaper plans for the reboot apparently involve still targeting a young demographic and remaking several key early MMPR episodes from pre-Tommy days. It's this approach that Netflix passed on.

...Yeah, Hasbro are dead set on not touching other suits or eras, what makes the most mint for them is what's the most familiar to the mainstream.

This past weekend I tried going back to Rangerboard.com, but after everything I had been through lately especially today with my family when we said our goodbyes to my aunt/godmother all I can say about that website is:

How much cheaper can you get than doing reshoots of an existing TV show in New Zealand and avoiding unions? Just straight up dubbing?

It was likely going to resemble "Once and Always", probably wouldn't have spent much on the CG of the Zords again either.

What key elements in particular? I can only guess that Netflix wanted something new and fresh.

And to be fair, MMPR is the first iteration (outside Super Sentai obviously) and the most marketable.

I'll have to dig up the tweet, but there were several episode titles named, including "Happy Birthday Zack" and "Fowl Play In The Sky"

this article is all over the place

https://screenrant.com/power-rangers...other-seasons/

Whoever wrote it is complaining that there's too much MMPR love going around but they understand why because it's so iconic and then later on say they're tired of MMPR but wouldnt mind it being rebooted.

Just watched the Kakuranger (alien) 30th anniversary special. I really liked it. It’s only 30 minutes and simple, but it is effective. I like how they tried to make it feel like an episode structure with an Op, Ending, and eye-catches for commercials. Was iffy on the plot, but since it was about Junior’s (Rito’s) son becoming the next king of evil after Daimou I think it did it well.

Apparently it's been low-key uncovered that Universal have partnered with Hasbro to produce Power Rangers content

In Ultraman related news today is the first issue of the American Ultraman/Avengers crossover comic, as well as the first two chapters of the Japanese Ultraman/Spider-man crossover manga.

Harold Cannon, who played Principal Kaplan in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Power Rangers Zeo, and Power Rangers Turbo passed away last year. He was 84.

His name got around as "Henry Cannon" all this time, but his name was actually Harold.

His final appearance in Power Rangers was in the "Carlos and the Count" episode. He found Bulk and Skull in the school since they were trying to catch Carlos who turned into a vampire, and they were vampire hunting. Principal Kaplan actually made them go to detention even though they were no longer attending Angel Grove High. Crazy, right?

Power Rangers Prime details
https://www.ign.com/articles/power-r...tudios-preview

Melisa Flores is the writer, and it appears to be a clean slate compared to an Ultimate Marvel-style saga, it starts with Lauren of Power Rangers Samurai being pursued by Eltarian law enforcement, she finds herself in Angel Grove, but one that does not have a Zordon keeping an eye on it. She runs into people here who all have different opinions on Power Rangers and will either help or hinder her on her unknown mission
