Because Scorpion is actually the Logo for NetherRealm Studios.

As a fan of Sub Zero, I sure am getting sick of Ed Boon making him get his ass kicked in every promotional video where he goes up against Scorpion. That guy is overrated. Yup I said it.

Never will I love a MK game as much as Shoalin monks though. I love them all but they need to make another.

So according to Boon at E3, this game spans from the end of the previous game, to 25 years later. This allows them to have characters like

The daughter of Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage.

Enjoy most of the MK games. My faves were 2, 3, 4 and mk6. Loved them all, but they are my top imo.

What I hated about the last one is the storyline, Yep they killed most of the heros off. You cant really do that. The Earth's defenses were pretty weak after MK9. I loved the fighting system, hated the storyline.

Oh yeah, MK1-3 didn't needed to be retold, the storyline of that time frame was perfect the way it was. It should of went on after 8. Have Raiden or Kang win the fight over the light force and restore order to the Earth with Khan thinking of other way to claim the Earth. It didn't need to go ALL the way back to MK1.

I liked offing everyone but it was handled clunkily. For one, they made Raiden such an utter dumbass that he's no longer fit to even be guardian of Earthrealm's toilets.

Don't worry they'll probably have his Zombified corpse as a playable character

And as long as they have Johnny Cage I will happily play this game and repeatedly punch my opponents in their tender bits, rendering them useless.
