After Smash's teaser, I was intrigued to play Splatoon 2.

It's a pretty entertaining and engaging game! I thought it's just a paintball game, but the city and community are just so much fun. People can draw and post sketches on their profile (it pops up when you approach them), their quirky dialogues are funny (they sound like the sims lol) and the style and color are just so lush.

I'm still a freshie at level 1 so I'm getting pummeled in the lobby stages lol.

so i upgraded the ds memory. now both at 32gbs..should be enough for a long while if 4gb's got me through a few years.

what cards will work on the wii u?

went to download two 3d mario games and i have no space left it seems.

I also don't understand nintendo. New Super Mario Brothers is on the Wii download store but not the DS download store? does that make any sense?

Oh wow, I play Splatoon 2 on Nintendo Switch all the time. This is a huge promo for the new upcoming show! Previously there’s a Spongebob theme Splatfest as well.

Can’t wait!!

I'm guessing this would back up your claim.

All of the virtual console games are easy to access on emulators these days, but it would've been cool to see Virtual Console on Ninendo Switch or atleast some other type of backwards compatibility.

Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.

Well I mean I'm more of a fan of buying games à la carte rather than paying for a service for them, but this comes with cloud saves and the classic games are gonna have online play.

Sadly the one game I've wanted to play online forever would be under Sega Ages and I don't think those games were supposed to come with online play.

I havn't caught the zelda vibe from Wild yet.

I just completed the first quest and talked to the King.
It's pretty simple so far, but it just seems like more of the same...only ALOT of slow walking. so far, i'm not impressed.

What the hell are you talking about now? Breath of the Wild doesn't open up till you leave the first starting area on the plateau.

I need to give it another try then, I got bored after an hour of playing and beating the first mini shrine. It pretty much killed my interest in the franchise.

I just got Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition which is full of Zelda fan service, I think that game will be able to make me remember why I like the franchise and I'll give BOTW another chance.

I'm incredibly ignorant of the new stuff, but this Pokemon game looks to me like a combination of Pokemon Go and the newer 3DS games.

I did like what I saw though, looks like a "back to the basics" approach with them using the Kanto region and the basic mechanics.

Not a fan of the art style, Pokemon just looks better celshaded and Sun/Moon already left behind the chibi style which while I adored I was sad to see go, I don't think it's good to go back. The catching mechanic looks like crap, I'm not a fan of Pokemon Go but hey, new gen in 2019 and with the experience of already having one Pokemon game on their belt and meanwhile us GENWUNNERS get to go back to Kanto with shiny new graphics until then. I'm happy, best of both worlds.

I don't have a Switch, so I couldn't play anyway, but that Pokemon game just isn't pulling me in. Don't care for the look either. I like that it's kind of a Gen I feel, though as it does seem to be going back to basics and if I were to get that, I'd SO get Eevee. lol

So, does this mean the 3DS' life span is coming to an end soon?

I think it looks good, I just hope it's not like sun and moon, where the game is SOOOOOOOOOO full of text making the game so boring, and all that could have been avoided with a skip button
