I did ask if he had any spare fist lying around somewhere (it came with 2 sets of fists, originally, so i was crossing my fingers i'd get lucky..) , he told me he'd let me know, but i feel there's a fat chance of that.

For the price i paid for it, tho it's alright, and, if i ever manage to receive imports again, it's something that i could buy sepparetly i guess, since i saw the fists on ebay...

It'd have been nice if it were the missile on the 'battle ready terminator' as that's the figure i have then, it wouldn't have been a complete loss.

Nice today i was able to find this, which i got by selling my beat up chuck norris figure that i no longer wanted...it was in really bad shape so i wasn't even displaying it anyway



"Justice League" 'Hawkgirl': http://www.figurerealm.com/actionfig...igure=hawkgirl (I had to damage it a bit, to restore leg articulation, some genius decided to glue the wings to the legs...but it's barely noticeable on the bottom part of the wings, & back of the foot, where both parts met...it's still in better shape than the chuck norris figure i sold, i suppose, fortunately, i didn't pay much for it either...)

Unfortunately, it is difficult for me to find out about these things until i get home and research it on the net, but for the price, i think i did ok.

Nice!I had bought a few tmnt figures on ebay, the foot soldier, a rat king and baxter stockman.
However, the package got sent back to the U.S...
Now it has been resent, but it's been a month, and still hasn't arrived...

But if the package gets through, i'd really like to continue buying from ebay again (The prices are cheap, and the items are in good shape most of the time.)

These particular figures are pretty nice quality wise, and even has painted weaponry!

Yeah i like the color scheme on the foot soldier figure!Plus i could use the weapons for some of my 80's turtle figures which are still missing belts & weapons.

The Ash figure is a great figure!& for a nice price, with local pickup to boot!At $10 bucks, for a main character like that, i'm hard pressed to find such a deal anymore, at least in this lackluster local market, so, i am happy..!

The seller also had Misty & i kind of really wanted it, but it was missing the small part of hair that sticks up from her hairdo...i'm trying to buy only complete figures without faults now, & avoiding broken items if possible...but, i kind of really want that character, and can't find interesting characters for the price the misty one is going for anymore, even with that fault...maybe i could sculpt the missing hair bang and fix it myself?I wonder what i should do?

Troll warrior figure, i exchanged for the chuck norris ninja figure, because the arm was broken, and i want good condition item for my humble collection now (non-broken nor bootleg)...it was at discount for $3 dollars!

He had 1 more troll, and i have the $3 dollars, but i need to cash it out but the money 's not available til tomorrow...and then wait again until free time to go to the bank is available...i hope i can make it >_<, that way if i can buy jessie, it'd be like $7 per figure on average between the both of 'em, it'd help me reach my goal of 100, u.s retail, non-broken, non-bootleg figures (i just need about...4? more figures)

Yeah because, the pokemon figures were $10 and i couldn't haggle the price of misty down to $7...the 'troll warriors' were really affordable ($3 each), so that way i got 4 figures for $7 average...

But, i think i'll try to sell 2 of them for $6 later on and keep just the blue one because, i am interested in the Garfield & kung fu panda plushies now, but they are $8 and $10 respectively & i am all out of money...

I'm so happy with the Inspector Gadget action figure!I've been looking for it for 3 years.
It is a most sought after figure for me.

Swat Kats

Because, they are scarce, so, they are a bit more expensive than the other figures i collect...on top of this, i have to pay shipping to a U.S address, and then pay international shipping back to Argentina.

At the time, there were import limitations into the country, and i could never buy it from eBay...i can't believe that i found it in argentina! (And at a totally decent price too!)
It's definitely one of my pride & joy of my collection now, next to "ReSaurus" Tails, "Digivolving" Wargreymon, "Kid Works" Cowboys of moo mesa minifigures, & Ico El caballito valiente (* ^^*) i really cherish this toy!I feel fortunate to have it at all.

I'm sorry--i didn't realize about the thread...do you think i should move my future non-tmnt finds there?Because, TMNT finds for me are rare nowadays, they're either too costly if interesting, or if affordable, not interesting enough (eg ace duck, astronaut raph, mike the sewer surfer) in argentina, and i can't get 'em from ebay, so my TMNT collection stalled since 2013.

And, i don't want to derail from the forum's theme or break its rules.

& Yeah!! i couldn't believe my luck, i'm so happy to finally have it...except for this one, which seems grossly overpriced and has been there since 2014, Only the happy meal toys and the accesories have popped up in mercadolibre (to my knowledge, and i've been looking dilligently for the past 2 years):

& i bought the "main color" burger king gadget toy, and i suppose the 3 others either sold out or went unsold, because, it's not there anymore.

Anyway, what happened was, i was looking at the newly posted listings in the figures section, and saw a matt trakker figure, we started chatting because i was wondering if he could get me the one with the regular suit & mask, that you see on the show, so i looked him up on facebook.

So it was kind of by random chance that i found out he had it but i'm happy i got to it before someone else did.
I see it on ebay a lot of the time, but, even now that imports are allowed, my mail got returned, and now, i think just stolen or tossed (That's $41 in shipping costs and i don't even know how much was in there in figures but there was a flamedramon which i don't think i'll be able to find/afford again >_<,) so it's not safe to order anymore.

But, it makes me feel luckier finding this locally.
& also, that i was able to get the moolah before anyone even called dibs on it (which fortunately nobody did, the first person that comments "mine" in the picture post, can reserve it for a week, so i could've missed it...i guess it's not as interesting to other people?But to me, it's a very odd figure to see around here, as opposed to marvel/dc/etc...)

I'm not sure if you should move it. I don't really like giving advice and am not always great on interpreting the rules. I just know most everyone that has a collection thread seems to have non TMNT things mixed in (including myself) so if most everyone does it, it must be somewhat acceptable.

I was just thinking if you are mostly always having non TMNT things that thread is always another option to share in, that reaches members that might not check this one. I think these collection threads are pretty liberal with rules because they are personalized more than another threads. So if someone don't like they don't got to click on it. Unlike for example posting for sale items in the movie discussion section. Where a lot of people go and it's not so personalized to one member.

Yeah getting things local and having the funds when something appears is great.

Alright, cool yeah--i guess i'll just keep posting on this thread for now?I think i remember seeing a lot of stuff mixed in when i started (a thread with earthworm jim, toxic crusaders, & a bunch of other cool stuff ) so i started doing the same haha.

Problem is, at that time TMNT figures were readily available, nowadays, the guy i bought from's not bringing in any more (at that price point) so it turned into a non-TMNT thread before i realized it earlier on was more like a mixed TMNT thread...but still, i think it should be cool!

& yeah!Oddly enough they're offering me nice items locally, and at nice prices, and i'm managing to sell off some of the things i am not interested in anymore aswell, so things area going a bit more smoothly than in the past (also i found someone to sell paypal to, aswell, which really helps me out)

Thanks man!I'm so stoked about it, because, i was really after it real bad~ it was actually one of the items that i intended to buy on ebay the most, i guess the positive side to not being able to afford it back then, was that, it didn't get lost in the mail and i could just purchase it here (to tbh i wouldn't have expected to show up realistically priced, if this thing was $900 ars: http://articulo.mercadolibre.com.ar/...s-1992-dic-_JM and the accesories go for $100: http://articulo.mercadolibre.com.ar/...tiger-toys-_JM (i paid $400 for the figure with the 2 accesories included in the deal, but the other figures were going for $200-300...really reasonable, all things considered...because it wouldn't have been less than that with the cost of shipping even buying it from ebay anyway.

Oh yeah!I saw the trailer...i was hoping it'd be alright before the trailer was unveiled since DreamWorks was behind it, then the trailer actually came out and now i don't know anymore it's not exactly promising lol
