Leo looks like he's had one too many pizzas around the cheek areas. I think I'll pass at that price point.
Did they copy Playmates' classic collection stands?

The body isn't bad, but the pose looks pretty awkward. The head totally ruins it. I would probably consider buying it exactly as is if I came across it in a shop for less than $40. For $200 it has to blow me away

I don't see why people are bothered by the somewhat bulbous face. It's not unlike much of the 90's OT oriented turtle art. There were even some old Playmates figures like that. I dig it. If anything about it bothers me it's that Leo's holding his swords backwards. If I can get this cheaper than that, I will.

They look alright, but I definitely don't think they belong in that price range. That's just ridiculous.

I collect a lot of statues, and I'll just say that relative to other statues this size, Leo is overpriced by about $50. But a closer examination of the prices on the linked site show that most of their statues are priced 10-15% higher than usual.
Unless we get word that it's exclusive to this website, hold off and wait until a preorder is available elsewhere. You'll probably save a few bucks that way. |

What bother me a little is that they do not announce the number of pieces yet. I contacted them by mail, and they don't know yet. If I pay a statue that price, it is not to be a big numbered one.
I didn't even know that Ikon Collectables were making prodders before seeing that.
