HEROCROSS Hybrid Metal Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

During this weekend's Toy Soul 2016 event in Hong Kong, HEROCROSS displayed their new prototypes for Hybrid Metals series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
This line is known for their deformed die cast figures

I can't find any good pics and links so far beside what my friend Victor Wong shared with me on facebook.

Hope the link works.

Link doesn't work :/

Googling Herocross. Their products looks nice, but I'm not a fan of squat figures, and TMNT kinda have had a lot of those lately with Funko Pop, Loyal Subjects and others.

I found some pics here- http://news.toyark.com/2015/12/19/he...ul-2015-185608

Must-haves for me. I love SD figures, even if it is more of the same retro FW stock art stuff.

Are these officially licensed? Any idea on a price point?

Personally I think Herocross looks better than the other squat figures and I don't much like that stuff either. These remind me of kid versions of the heroes they are representing.

I wish some Fred Wolf related product would do the turtles up like the original figures and have those different skin tones instead.

The Hybrid Metal figs are usually around $70-90USD price point. Some better deals can be found online. Pre-ordering directly from HEROCROSS do include free shipping. Last time my Optimus Prime only took a week shipping from Hong Kong to Canada so it's pretty fast.

Whaaaat? I don't like them at that price.

Unless by some rare chance they have OT accurate paint jobs, instead of the stock art uniformed neon green look. Then, I might try to justify it.

Toy People web page has some more close up pics of the prototypes.
I might be wrong but seems like the TMNT prototypes only have 2 head sculpts: the angry face used for Donatello and Leonardo, and the happy face with Michelangelo and Raphael.

Toy Ark has an updated look at the Herocross figures. Enjoy!

A new preview photo has been released by HEROCROSS. The new image gives us a great look at their upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Hybrid Metal Figuartion Figures. Included are:

Leonardo
Donatello
Michelangelo
Raphael

The Turtles are based on their classic 80’s cartoon appearance. The figure will stand roughly 6″ tall each and have plenty of articulation and accessories. They will also contain a larger portion of diecast metal. We’ll have more info as it becomes available. Click the banner above for the full image.

Judging from Herocross' other hybrid metal figures, these will be $80-120 each.

First available is Donnie. Each figure comes with alternate heads and hands. I'm not personally interested in these, but I do think they are cool.

I like the general idea of these figures, but my goodness, we've got to cool it with all the Turtle figures based on the old merchandising artwork. I'm not saying let's have nothing but Mirage Turtles running around, but some variety would be nice. It seems like every other month, another company announces premium Fred Wolf collectibles. And if I'm already dropping in the range of $100 per Turtle, why on earth wouldn't I just stick with the S.H. Figuarts versions? These aren't different enough to justify the purchase of both, if you ask me.

I completely agree. But I have a strange feeling I'll get these anyway.
Turtles are like drugs.

I really do love these, but between the price point & the fact there are so many other superior collectibles coming, it's an easy pass. Wee bit of a bummer, but I'm holding out for NECA.

These are actually kind of cool. I may just buy one. It's hard to keep shelling out money every time yet another toy company jumps on the TMNT bandwagon and puts out a whole set.

On the same page here my friend. NECA's line is a must, and I may grab one of those 1990 Movie statues.

I'm burned out with Fred Wolf inspired figures in general. I'm hoping someone somewhere will pick up the IDW toy license. There are so many superior versions of Turtles vs Fred Wolf stuff that someone needs to branch out.

This range has definitely grown on me.
Originally,I had no interest. However.... I am now pretty sure I'll buy these for my office.
