Blade Runner Anime Series coming to Adult Swim
Looks like an Anime Series based on Blade Runner is coming to Adult Swim. The series will be set between the original Blade Runner and 2049 in the year 2032.

Funny thing about Blade Runner 2049, it felt like there were a lot of references to Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep, the scene where K returns home at the start felt very familiar. But aside from the very obvious part where K is told a goat would make an excellent pet, I'm not sure if it actually did reference the book as much as I think, partially because I'm too lazy to reread the book.

I don't see this going anywhere. The book is kind of an aquired taste, and the original film and sequel are kind of niche intellectual sci-fi, rather than more mainstream appeal.

As a long time Blade Runner fan, this should be a very interesting series considering how BR is popular in Japan.
