You know, after almost twenty years of watching Doctor Who and all his adventures, the Daleks still scare me. Their "Exterminate!" still creeps me out, their looks still make me freak... and somehow, I love the Daleks for that. And this new series is great!

And Billie Piper as Rose doesn't do such a bad job. Okay, I admit, she's only got two different moods, perky or sobbing, but she's doing a good job as Rose.

That is correct and it was fantastic. Doctor Who just can't be bad. I mean, sure, there's ups and downs, but every child with a british background knows and most of the time loves the show. And that theme song is just unforgettable.

Martha was surprisingly good. I expected her entry to be less spectacular. And you know what I really appreciate with the show? They're not setting anything up, they just throw people right into some intergalactic mess. You can really see it happening, since life can be absurd that way. Great episode. Gotta love the Doctor.

Yup, definitely enjoyed this episode. I like Martha, but I think it might take a couple more episodes for me to get used to her. That doesn't mean she was bad, though. It took me a few episodes to get used to David Tennant in the role and now I adore him.

Man.. this was an awesome episode! The highlights?:

Aliens wearing Nightwatcher outfits....that's what they looked like to me.

And the aliens weren't just any regular run of the mill aliens....they were Rhinos!! So this will be the closest we'll ever get to seeing Rocksteady or Genosuke done live action.

Next week! Shakespear!! WOOT! Men dressed up as women!

Amazing opener. The Doctor showing off in the opener was a terrific peice of comedy, which of course was given a great explanation in the ending.

Loved The Judoon's dismissal of human lifeforms, not to mention the "compensation" line

Ok, this week's episode won mega bonus points from me for all of the Harry Potter stuff. Just brilliant. And I'm not a Shakespeare person, but a friend of mine who is said all of that stuff was also brilliant. A very enjoyable episode!

And I'm REALLY looking forward to next week's with the Face of Boe!

It was a good episode, really. But I'm more a fan of episodes that take place in the future or on other planets. With episodes throughout history, you kind of know how it will end. However, Shakespeare kicked ass. And you've got to love "Freedonia" and The Doctor's rambling when he's thinking about stuff.

I wonder what Shakespear is?? He was able to see the Psychic paper for what it really was and he figured out that the doctor and Martha weren't from the 16th century.

Also.. just what did the doctor do to piss off Queen Elizabeth 1st?? Man...the doctor keeps on pissing off the queens of England. First Victoria and now Elizabeth!

And BTW... a bit of historical inaccuracy. The ep was set in 1599 and it was mentioned that the Queen hadn't gone to any of Shakespears plays. Yet according to the true history she saw Love's Labour's Lost in 1597.

Love's Labour's Won was supposadly written around 1598.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Love%27s_Labour%27s_Won

A bit of Trivia: A theatre near the Globe was called The Rose. Would have been neat if it had been mentioned or the doctor saw it.

As for all the references to Harry Potter. Loved it! *lmao* The Doctor is an HP fan. Good to know.

Trailer for the remaining new episodes of the third season

The next episode "42" is a real-time 43 minute story in the style of "24".

I really liked today's episode. But who was that guy talking to Martha's mom? I feel like I should know who he is (his name was mentioned at the end), but I can't recall who that is at all.

The trailer for the second half of the season was great. I am sooooo looking forward to Captain Jack!!!

The man talking to Mrs. Jones was'nt Mister Saxon, he was simply passing information from him to her. Saxon was the guy smiling at the camera and breathing through the gas mask near the end of the trailer

But who is Mister Saxon then? I mean, I have the feeling that I should know him from somewhere.

But that was a good episode. Not spectacular, but good. And the monster had a very cool design, too.

"Utopia" began the season finale in earnest, with a major twist, and a major surprise apperance. Despite the build, this was'nt entirely about Captain Jack, but a kindly old Professor finding himself again...and the result could cost us our very lives

Next week, Mr. Saxon begins his political campaign, seizes control of Downing Street, and begins an alien invasion. The Doctor, Martha and Jack, seperated from the TARDIS, must return from the end of the very universe to end the threat of The Doctor's deadliest enemy.

I'm still waiting for today's episode... very impatiently.

But since I haven't commented in a few weeks, the last several have been quite good. And "Blink" was the first time I've ever actually felt scared during Doctor Who. It really freaked me out, but it was also insanely brilliant.
