That huoguo thing sounds interesting, I'm reading about it on wikipedia. There were a couple Chinese restaurants near my town years ago, unfortunately now is all about "all-you-can-eat" Japanese sushi places, even if there's only Chinese people working in them, not an actual Japanese person there, which is pretty odd.

Progresso Split Pea soup.

Although I recently became aware the brand has two different Split Pea soups. Both flavored with bacon and contains a little, but one specifying "shoulder bacon" and also includes dried peas that aren't so soft (not a fan) that the other one doesn't have. Huh.

I just had a tuna sandwich. I never eat fish, so I'm trying to get Omega-3 in my system. Don't know if it really matters but I've been sort of into supplements and just generally fulfilling all my body's nutritional needs over the last several years. I'd be lying if I told you it makes a noticeable difference in my everyday life but perhaps it will pay off.

Other than that, I've been eating a lot of Chinese food lately. There's a sort of pricey, but relatively good quality Chinese place near me and I keep hitting them up for Fried Rice and vegetable spring rolls. Not exactly a wise use of money, but I've been typically sticking to one meal a day for a while now, aside from the occasional snack, which helps justify the cost.

Aqua... that OMD (one meal daily) is gonna do incredible things for your health IF you're getting your nutrients. Omega 3s are important BUT also... mostly you just need vitamin supplements if you're doing the OMD. OMD means that you are also doing intermittent fasting. Good for you!

As far as my last food.... My new boss DOES NOT eat meat and he bought me dinner tonight at Carlotta's, his fav. and my new fav. vegetarian deli. I ordered a portabello mushroom veggie burger with a side of sweet potato fries! The house specialty sauce is a homemade ketchup made out of yellow baby roma tomatos. DELICIOUS! Had a good day at work to boot!

Met up with a Good Brother down in Barnegat to buy some video game stuff, and the meet-up was at a Burger King. Haven't had that in a while, so I had some fries and Chicken Fries for the drive - Chicken Fries are SOOOO GOOOD - and I just got done with a Double Whopper with Cheese and Bacon.

Anything worth doing is worth OVER-doing.

Last little package of year old marshmallow Peeps. Now that fresh ones are starting to show up in some stores... lol They were still soft, but became perfectly chewy real fast after opening.

What.

Anyways... I had some chicken-flavored steamed rice and some parmesan-encrusted fried butterfly shrimp.

And now it's almost time to eat again and I don't know what I want.

Kitkat is nice, but Twix will forever be my favourite chocolate.

Crunch is good stuff too.

ramen noodles, the soy/oriental flavored kind. I don't know if this makes me sound like a fatty, but does anyone else double them up when you eat the stove top kind? I find that the eating a single one at a time doesn't go far.

Big ol' House Special Wonton Soup.

About to dive into a big plate of Sweet & Sour Chicken with pork fried rice and egg rolls.

I should be fat. But I'm not. Thank God.

I think I heard the more muscle mass you got on you the easier it is to keep fat off. Or something like that, I'm sure it's more complex than that. And your like a body builder or personal trainer or something right? (sorry I don't quite know your stats). I've seen gym enthusiasts pack away food (sometimes massive amount of junk food) just as much as they eat the healthy stuff and still look lean and fit.

Was a personal trainer (and always FAR from a "bodybuilder" ). Now I'm just a guy who eats like crap and goes to the gym so I can continue to eat like crap.

Reminds me that I'm forever annoyed that Twix is just all about the caramel... Where are the peanut butter ones, do they even still exist? Those were my fave and how could a stick shaped cookie with peanut butter and chocolate not be a viable product to keep in the shelf. >.>

With all the silly left Twix/right Twix promotion of them, I've always wondered why they haven't ever paired one caramel and one peanut butter together in the same pack.

Because they would rather make you buy TWO packs.

No they wouldn't...because I never see the peanut butter ones in stores.

Just asked Google's shopping thingy for anything "available nearby" and it gave me all caramel and the cookies n' cream Twix, the only ones I do see out there. *sigh* Of course.
