So I'm new to these, but would like to start buying them...

Are volumes 1 and 2 out of print?

FCBD yes, TMNT Day no. The second was only a brief summary of the series up to that point.

I still love the hardbacks, but I'm slightly disappointed with the color choices lately. Baby-$hit yellow for Slash instead of black or green, weird baby-$hit brown/tan color for Krang in January instead of pink...
So I finally got my copy of volume 9 today and the cover is way darker in colour than the preview looks (like in my avatar); is this just my copy or is are all copies of Vol.9 like this?

Mine is also much darker. It's a murky yellow-brown, not yellow.

Huh, must have been late artistic choice. I kinda like way it makes Slash's eyes pop-out that little bit more!

I'm giving up w/ Amazon....I am about to return #2 for the 3rd time. Each time is came in a paper envelope, not even a bubble envelope. I even tried ordering another item with it and they shipped separately. No B&N have these in stock so I can't hand select them. Anyone order these from DCBS?? They have a good price, just hoping they arrive in decent condition.

So over on the release dates thread we've had Volume 11 confirmed as Casey on the cover and a grey spine, curiously both Penguin Random House and Amazon are showing Volume 10 with a much pinker spine than previously...

I want these hardcovers so damn bad. There's just...too many of them. Which is a good thing. But also a bad thing, for me.

Really glad to see the pink spine. Much more perfect for the Krang volume.

Can't wait for these.

Also, if they're going to change colors this late in the day, I'm hoping we see Volume 11's spine become white to match Casey's hockey mask...

I agree especially as Vol 11's spine looks very close to Vol 2's colour.

PRH has also confirmed that Vol 11 will include 76 - 84 and U16 - U18, U21 - U22, but nothing specific about the back ups (although the Triceratots, Woody and KoR prelude are certain and they make up half of remaining back-ups page wise).

I thought this volume would finish collecting all of TMNT Universe, but apparently not. Last three issues for Volume 12.

Yeah, by my working out Vol 11 - 13 should be something similar to the following;

V11: 76 - 84, U16-18, U21-22, Triceratots, Woody's Invasion, Dangerous Waters, KoR prelude (336 pages)

V12: 85 - 88, U23-25, BRHtR 1-5, Don Macro, Mike Macro, Life at Sea, Nobody Cares, Mutagen Maintenance (370 pages)

V13: 89 - 100, Leo Macro, Raph Macro, FCBD: Casualty of War (390 pages)

Naturally the back-up stories I've placed in vol 12 could also be in vol 11, which would bump 11's page count to 354pg, allowing for #89 to be in V12 putting it's page count to 374pg and 13's to 368pg (a bit more balanced that way too)

Also I've not included Shredder in Hell as issue 5 is now releasing 18th December after issue 101, so it's looking like it'll take place later.

Either way the reading order that's coming with the 'Road to 100' special will clear things up.

Oh and Leatherhead/ Bishop/ Metalhead/ Old Hob for 12 and Karai/ Jennika for 13!

Old Hob for 12, I hope. And I was assuming it'd be Karai, up until Jennika mutated. Still hope it's Karai though.

Well, I hoped that they will cover everything up to #100 in 3 more volumes, but it doesn't look possible at this moment.

While calculating I always consider a number of story pages, which for other 10 volumes was between 290 and 381, to broaden a little bit - up to 400.

So my mapping for 11-13 was following:

11. TMNT 76-84, Universe 16-18 & 21-22, Triceratots!, Woody, Dangerous Waters, Nobody Cares, KoR Prelude and Michelangelo Macro (as a necessary conclusion to KoR arc) = 344 story pages

12. TMNT 85-89, Universe 23-25, B&RHTR 1-5, Mutagen Maintenance, Life at Sea, Donatello, Leonardo and Raphael Macros = 398 story pages (they can move a couple of back-ups to the previous volume to balance them)

13. TMNT 90-100, FCBD 2019, Shredder in Hell 1-5 = 388 story pages

Now, when they left Michelangelo Macro out of Volume 11, it's not possible to cover everything up to #100 in 2 more volumes, without enlarging them, which, I'm sure, they won't do.

As I mentioned previously we know certain backups will be in 11, the rest in 12 and it's also possible that Shredder in Hell is after #100 considering SiH5 releases after #101 now. Either way the Road to 100 special will clarify all of this one way or another.

So I think I've nailed the most likely arrangements for Volumes 12 to 14, just needed the last piece of the puzzle as it turned out:

Volume 12: Donnie Macro, Mikey Macro, remaining back ups(Mutagen Maintenance, Dangerous Waters, Life at Sea), U23 - U25, #85, Hit the Road 1 - 5 - 304 pages

Volume 13: #86 - 88, Leo Macro, Raph Macro, #89 - 92, Shredder in Hell 1 - 5 - 354 pages

Volume 14: #93, FCBD:CoW, #94 - 100, Jennika 1 - 3 - 300 pages

The last piece I mentioned is the Jennika mini as it provides enough pages to bump Vol 12 and 14 to around the same size as Volume 7 which only had 14 issues in it (51-64) and a few extra pages can be given to any extra RI covers not used for the top and tail pages for each issue/ back up story in that particular volume. Naturally the exact issue order could be a bit different, but the grouping of the arcs makes sense.
Covers wise 12 could be Hob, Bishop, Leatherhead or Metalhead; 13 possibly Karai, Bishop or Hob and 14 is either Karai or Jennika.
