Pictures of the rest of the canned Playmates Mirage figures from NYCC09

To me the Turtles look 'off', but Shredder and the Foot are atrociously bad.

O I am laffin.

Could you imagine those figures sitting next to the NECA ones on a shelf? So. Bad. That April cosplay is hilarious too. She DOES look like The Bride.

Wow yea Those are Not Nice

so as per the OPs post

"3. I would not be surprised if NECA gets the license for the upcoming Mutants in Manhattan game. They have the license for other modern video games, and have released Gears of War figures, Heroes of the Storm figures, and a Nathan Drake figure."

anything to Add to that ?

Why would there be? They're not doing anything but "nostalgia" & those designs are literally the IDW turtles as drawn by Mateus. Not happening.

I just saw this tweet and honestly? I breathed a sigh of relief. With all the Mythic Legions, Mafex DC, Figuarts Marvel, Star Wars, and Mezco one:12 coming, my wallet needs a reprieve!!

My speculation for next year will be the Dimension X set for Winter 2018 direct to consumer,
And 7" scale Henson turtle and villains set for SDCC 2018.
(The Dimension X set had "2018" on the placard)

That link isn't working for me, and I keep getting a 'threat detected' message when I click on it.

EDIT: the link is now working, and the images are the same ones I saw in a YouTube video about the 25th anniversary retro figures - which, it appears, are finally being released in the UK - there was an advert for them in the latest UK TMNT magazine, although it shows 6 figures - the 4 turtles, Splinter and Shredder - but says there are 5 to collect - maybe Splinter and Shredder are in a 2-pack or something.

If they were serious about the set being toon accurate, the artwork would be something straight outta the OT, like screenshots or something. Even the NECA Mirage Comics figures box art was true to the source. Would have been cool if the SDCC 2017 set came with OT backdrops, like the arcade set did.
The vinyl case is meant to invoke a feeling of nostalgia for the period. The licensing art back in the day NEVER looked like it came straight out of the OT.
