I stopped by one of the Target stores here in town today to see if any cool new items had shown up. Instead I came away with a sack full of clearance items. The smaller TMNT slot car set was 50% off, $15. And a couple of the TMNT LED light sets were on clearance for $9. Oddly, only the Donatello face light was on clearance. They also had a couple of the nunchuks on clearance but no spot for them on the shelves or any other of the weapons.

For once waiting paid off. Of course now I feel compelled to find the rest, hopefully on clearance. So my $40 "savings" may end up costing me $200

Would we consider 30 for a Mint/Complete Mutant Masters Leo a "steal"?

Id like to think so

I don't know how much of a steal this is to everyone else but I just got a Movie III Whit figure with the Casey Jones mask and cloth tunic piece plus Fugitoid figure for $11 shipped. I almost won a Whit for $15 plus shipping a month or two ago so I am very happy I got two figures for less than I had originally planned to pay!

I managed to get the 2012 Turtle Lair, complete, for 18 bucks at a salvage store, the only thing wrong was the box was banged upbut everything was included, in great condition. Even my wife said how good a deal it was, and she's hard to impress when it comes to sales.

Not sure if I can call this a ''steal'', but I purchased an orignal almost sewer playset for 30$!

Steal or not, I'm very happy with this new acquisition, I was looking for it since a long time but never managed to find an affordable one before!

Picked up a mib giant mutating donatello for $60. Super excited with it and it's in near perfect shape.

At Target today I got the new movie turtle van for $11.99. I was expecting it to still be $40 and was only getting it cause it is starting to disappear from shelves so the steep discount was a pleasant surprise.

Found a great lot of loose figures from across various eras of the franchise at my local Great Escape this week:

$24 for all of them. I passed on a few others too. The vintage Raphael figure is in rough shape, but it is a soft-head release. The 2k3 Raphael is the Ninja Action re-release (not near as cool looking as the original Ninja Action figures but it does pack quite a kick).

You can definitely say 'various eras' again. That April 'O Neil obviously came out in the early 90s. You'll never see female reporters wear biker shorts under a dress ever again.

That is the variant, April The Ravishing Reporter from 1995, IIRC.

Oh, I thought the one from '95 had black hair for some reason. You could almost pretend she was April's doppelganger nemesis.

Apparently, they had "some kid" who came in last week and pretty much sold off all his old figures. Apparently, the guy was happy for the cash, but considering what little I paid for them, he must have received a pittance in return. I can't help but think that boy is gonna regret unloading his figures one day.

Yeah, April "The Ravishing Reporter" must surely be one of the weirdest action figures ever released in a toy line marketed almost exclusively to boys in the 1990s. I suppose Playmates got it in their minds early on that April O'Neil toys = big sales, so they certainly weren't shy about releasing an April variant almost every year of the original line's run (Cavewoman April, the Ninja Newscaster, Mutatin' April, Movie III April, etc.). When it comes to mass market female action figures, I wouldn't be surprised if April O'Neil has outsold any other heroine produced for even DC or Marvel. Princess Leia probably does have her beat though.
