When four pet turtles were bathed in alien ooze, they began to mutate and became the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Raised in New York City sewers by their foster father and wise sensei, Master Splinter, Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael wage war against crime. Led by Master Splinter, the four turtles learn the ancient martial art of Ninjitsu, mastering skills of stealth, weapons, and fighting. They stop evildoers in all forms, whether barbaric gangs, lowlife crooks, deranged cyborgs, or even the crime syndicate The Foot, led by their archrival, The Shredder. This release of the 2003 reimagined series includes all 155 episodes. Also included is the TV movie and series finale, Turtles Forever where worlds collide as the turtles from the 2003 dimension meet the 1987 turtles and other classic characters like Splinter, Casey, April, and a slew of archenemies like Krang, the Foot Soldiers, and Bebop & Rocksteady! I'll believe it when I see it. But I figured my finally giving up last year and collecting the old releases would undoubtedly cause a complete set to finally happen. At least the universe's spitefulness of me can have its benefits.

I suppose IF it includes the final season that would still make it a must... Even better if they put the episodes in the correct order, but wouldn't hold my breath on that.

I mean, I'll definitely buy it if it's real. The operative word being "IF."

Holy CRAP, freaking FINALLY!! Judging by the release date, I'm guessing we have Mutant Mayhem's upcoming theatrical release (as well as the added benefit of it being the show's 20th Anniversary this year) to thank for this LONG-awaited miracle. I can't freaking WAIT to finally have this show on my shelf in more than small pieces!

Yeah, I'm honestly expecting the edited version just because they could reuse the disc they already printed. Sucks, but I'll still GLADLY take this over the microscopic crumbs that Viacom have given us of this series before.

It's about ****ing time. Nick and Viacom have been treating this series as the redheaded bastard stepchild of the franchise

Can someone get into contact with them and tell them about the uncut Turtles Forever? I mean I already own the UK release of it which is uncut, but it'd be nice to have it on a Region 1 format.

They have to be. Even using old discs that Funimation printed like the season releases:

Season 1- 2 discs
Season 2- 2 discs
Season 3/4- 9 discs
Ninja Tribunal- 2 discs
Fast Forward- 2 discs

Totals 17, still needs two for Back to the Sewer and one for Turtles Forever.

Awesome news, but so late in the game. My dvd player is packed away somewhere. I would have jumped on this years ago.
I hope the packaging art is cool like the initial season sets that were released.

Now, this IS or IS NOT a legit company that provides a distribution service directly for companies like Paramount? Anyone know?

Because if I'm throwing in $60 plus shipping, this better be legit.

Anyone have expeince buying from them and know if it will continue to be available after pre-order? Or is this pre-order only and then it will stop selling?

Man this is like 15 years too late. If this was in 2010-2012 I'd be jumping for joy. I'm an old man now in my late 30's, and I've pretty much moved on from physical media.

Why must everything happen so late?

Is that a new artwork on the cover? I hate the fact this is DVDs and not Blu-rays.

No, that artwork was on just about every lunchbox, t-shirt or DVD cover back in the early oughts (aughts?) that I believe was done by Mike Dooney.

Nevertheless, I'm happy to see it, but not sure I'll bite. I didn't care too much for Fast Forward or Back to the Sewers (though they might be fun to watch again), and I have everything else on DVD already.

The fact that we're getting DVD's at all when they have it all up on streaming is a miracle in itself. Nobody under 30 watches DVD's/blu-rays anymore.

I'm definitely interested in this, but it's an epic failure that these are pushed to DVD anymore instead of Blu-Ray.

That's actually a huge red flag These might just be copied transfers from VHS or broadcast. If they went to the original negatives to scan for DVD, then they would've just as easily scanned them in HD for Blu-Ray and the entire color gamut.

My point? These are either 3rd party or they are going to be low quality crap. It makes no sense to release anything on standard def blu Ray anymore when the home standard has been HD for almost 15 years now. So something is wrong here.
