We knew last year that it was ending but it was only confirmed by Nickelodeon early this year.

Any idea of what the magic powers will be? Like typical ninja tricks or something else?

Probably a mix of the Ninja Tribunal season, or maybe something like Avatar. It could also be something like each Turtle is based on an element:
- Leonardo = wind or water - Raphael = fire - Michelangelo = earth - Donatello = steel/science |

Michael Bay
Can someone oppose this magic stuff, as fans did against Michael Bay's "Blue Door" script planning to have the turtles as extraterrestrials?

Science is not an element.

Also the Mystic Foot in the 2k3 series was based on elements:
- Fire foot Mystic - Water foot Mystic - Wind Foot Mystic - Steel Foot Mystic - Ground Foot Mystic In Season 1's Return to New York, we have Splinter fight them all and use all their mystic powers against the one it was "super effective" against. Kind of like Pokemon types/attacks. |

HAHAHA! "Control over an observational structure"? You couldn't just have left it at steel?
Well, we already the same basic thing like 10 years ago and the current comics literally depict them as reincarnated from children, it's a little too late to put that genie back in the bottle. Not to mention that mystic powers have been depicted since issue 9, with that old guy using Splinter as an avatar to transfer his samurai mojo to an heir psychically, remember? I could go on listing examples of this...

Looking back at the FW cartoon I really don't think this will be that much of an issue, that cartoon essentially became slapstick comedy and they didn't try to turn course until later.
We were pretty fortunate with the 2012 Series honestly, and for me to some extent the 4kids series too. Maybe one day there'll be a more mature cartoon but I definitely not on a network of any kind.

The Don pic sorta reminded me of the 80s Playmates TMNT art and toys. At least, in the face. The rest is completely different. |

2k3, 2k7 & Nick Mikey are so loud, idiotic and annoying. Why can't Mikey be like in the IDW version?
Yes Mikey did knock off Raph several times in IDW comics whenever he's over the line. I'm actually astounded. I want this Mikey in animated form. |

Given that the new show is supposed to be different, I wonder if they would change the roles around, will Leo even be leader?

Character development that suits them would be one thing (though I have doubts we'll see any of that in this next one), but screwing with their roles, which would prob inevitably also also mess with their personalities? Leo not the leader? Donnie not the brainy tech guy? Serious mortal sin territory...
