Do you suppose that we are not actually getting Groundchuck, Dirtbag, Razhar, and Tokka, but thru are merely holograms? I suppose it's good to know that going in, because the cover suggests something that I wanted to see as a kid.

Reading those summaries I admit I am completely lost and have no idea what is going on. It seems we have to follow 3 different comic series at once to understand the Armaggedon War. This is definitely getting confusing.

In for the original cartoon comic, I hope it's good.

That sounds like the best possible way to reference all the extra villains in one story. Honestly, it woulda been a good way to homage some of the videogames, like fighting Slash in a simulation of prehistoric times and whatnot.

For what it's worth the next few months releases are in this order:

06/29: #130
07/13: TMNT Armageddon Game Opening Moves #1
07/27: #131
08/10: #132
08/24: TMNT Armageddon Game Opening Moves #2
09/07: TMNT Armageddon Game #1
10/12: #133
10/26: TMNT Armageddon Game #2
10/26: TMNT Armageddon Game Alliance #1

#131, #132 and OM1/2 precede the main event but from AG1 onwards it's not clear although the delay in releasing #133 might indicate that they are trying to release everything in at least a rough chronological order.

I think it's more like the eight character-centric micros we got early on in the IDW run, and then again for the villains during City Fall. So just the one issue per character.

That's basically how Sophie described it when I messaged her about a month ago.

"TMNT ARMAGEDDON GAME ALLIANCE #1"

That's... Interesting... Since AG is officially not the main book (though since that's presumably where the main meat of the story is going to be, it might as well be), that means we're essentially getting a tie-in to a tie-in.

She didn't specify, but then it may not have been decided at that point anyway.
