One quick correction, original retail for it was $1,000. And shipping was stupidly expensive since the box was almost a cubic meter and not all that light. I ended up scamming Toys R Us for one. They were selling it on their website. And at one point they were running some fairly large discounts in store. So I went into the store and had them do a web order for me via the store. As I recall, I saved $200-300 off the price and got free shipping.

Thinking of getting rid of my cubed shelving and do something like this. It’s from IKEA so if it doesn’t work out I won’t be out too much money. Any opinions ?
