wow, always loved the original playmates tmnt x universal line. for some reason, though, the design here isn't thrilling me. i'll pass, personally.
i hope super 7 still gets to do the original playmates designs. i imagine this is the final nail in the coffin of their 'gentleman's agreement' with neca. |

I've very impressed with both the figure and the commercial! Kudos to DGDX Animation!
So Playmates has had two eras of "Monster Turtles" (only the first being officially licensed) and now NECA gives us their spin. Playmates swapped the Turtle/Monster pairings for their classic/Nick toon lines so I'm wondering if NECA will duplicate any of the pre-existing pairings or once again mix everything up. Playmates/Universal Classic Leo: Wolfman/Creature from the Black Lagoon Raph: Mummy/The Metaluna Mutant Mikey: Frankenstein Monster/Invisible Man Don: Dracula April: The Bride Playmates Nick 2k12 Leo: Mummy/Hunter Raph: Vampire/Hunter Mikey: Werewolf Don: Frankenstein's Monster NECA/Universal Leo: ??? Raph: Frankenstein's Monster Mikey: ??? Don: ??? ???: ???
