Kickstarter: TMNT Action Figure Encyclopedia
I cannot say I am the biggest TMNT Action figures collector but this project really deserves to be more visible within our communauty.
The guy behind this project is basically making an attempt at an exhaustive TMNT action figures book. That is impressive. KICKSTARTER: TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES TMNT-ACTION FIGURE ENCYCLOPEDIA From the look of it, the project seems to be rather well handled: pictures are good quality, figures list is extensive... + the guy already succesfully completed other Kickstarter campaigns. That speaks for him. And to put the lid on it, shipment outside of the US now is affordable . Anyone else is backing this project? What are your thoughts about it? |

Even if the Kickstarter is addressed in the comments, I believe it deserves its own thread. Does anyone know more about the guy behind this project? He probably has an extensive action figure collection himself so I doubt he is a complete unknown in the fandom. Especially since he's been working on this project for 3 years. |

Will watch the film and read it properly when I get home from work, but looks like I will be in for this. Pretty amazing stuff, thanks for posting or I may have missed it.

It's being covered in the thread though ... but yes, I guess it's getting its own now.

Well, the book pics came out in an update today. Finally! Looking good to me...nice embossed slipcase with NECA 1990 Raph face on the front and shell on the back! Sad to see they are only the samples though...makes me think we could be waiting a lot longer.

If they're samples, then perhaps it means they're ready to do the mass printing. I have no idea how long that sort of thing happens, but I'm hopeful that we'll get these by the end of the summer.

My understanding is that the books have been printed. These were samples from that production run which would have been shipped out by a faster method to be used for promotion. (There would be no reason to produce 30 copies if it were only a test print.) So the rest should already be en route. Though it's hard to guess how long it might be before they actually arrive to be processed and shipped.

for anyone interested I ordered 2 of these and have been considering selling one. Not 100% sure if I will or not, but if you missed out shoot me an offer and I'll take it into consideration
