The X-men franchise needs a serious facelift. The smartest thing they can do is let Deadpool be the beginning of a new series. It was successful and proved there is a strong enough audience for R-rated superhero flicks. That could be the thing X-men needs to separate itself from the competition.

Wolverine and Deadpool are the only characters suitable for R ratings due to there violent nature, But the majority of X-Men always appeal to all ages.
