Oh it totally is... But they probably still produced about 30-38 episodes they haven't aired yet and they have some weird policy about not making it seem like the show failed, which is why it's taking so long for it to officially air the finale. The fact the show moved to Nicktoons, IDW not forcing themselves to put out some tie-in comics and Playmates no longer producing any toys for it is kind of the closest to official confirmation we have.

Based on the current rate of release, I estimate the finale will air between October 2020 and February 2021, probably November 2020. Or if we're really lucky, August 2020. If it were up to me, I'd just dump all the episodes online right away but I'm not in the business of disguising financial failures...

I dunno, I wasn't sure if CJ was really even her initials/nickname given the 'Grandma' part included, thinking it was probably just a random cover for company image. But who knows, you could be onto something.

No she just didn't have a real name (and officially, she still doesn't). I called her that because she's hyperactive and unhinged, also crazy eyes.

Doesn't feel like she'll be a particularly familiar version of the character, though. It's hard to imagine certain staples, like being best buds with Raph, working in this context.
