The future of Timothy...

So reviewing all the new information we got from SDCC, it seems that Donnie does get somewhere to getting his life back to normal.....somewhat with those mutagen arms and legs. But judging from the Casey Jones trailer, it seems Timothy/Mutagen Man is......just going to become a generic monster bad guy villain who attacks people for no reason....

I'm kinda scared really. I really don't want it to be one of those scenarios where the writers just turn Timothy into a generic bad guy. You'd figure he'd gane some sort of sympathy for others after what happened. But....I really want to know what the heck his role is going to be now that we know he's doing something next season, positive or not.

I'm really under the impression that Casey actually "rescues" April by mistake. That either April hasn't met Mutagen Man yet and panics at his appearance, prompting the rescue, OR Mutagen Man actually is sent up to the surface with April to protect her, fights off some Foot or Krang trying to catch April, maybe even carrying her off to safety, and Casey only sees this monstrous creature holding a seemingly helpless girl.

Also, we see a lot of detail of the chunk of aluminum flying at Timothy's face, and his eyes and mouth give a panicked look. I feel like this is a case of a good character being hurt by another good character due to a misunderstanding.

I'd be surprised if they made Tim into a villain. He really ought to be an ally.

I can see Timothy raging and going villain. He sees the turtles, Splinter, Fishface, Dogpound all get mutated into awesomeness and he gets turned into a pile of goo.

I hope not! He's a good character that has many possibilities, so it's unlikely.

He probably can't, and shouldn't, it wouldn't make sense considering his mutation. In contact with Mutant DNA= green blob AND shape shifting powers?

I seriously doubt that Donatello would make him capable of oozing mutagen out of his hands.

I'm not sure how he ends up with them but it seems like The Kraang will get their hands on Timothy and build or modify the suit.

Generic bad guy doesn't seem nearly as likely as turning him into a character with a major vendetta against the turtles who is capable of horrific things.

Also Spike turning into Slash, that could be another turning point.

Also Timothy could be becoming a villain because of a sense of betrayal; Donnie saving April's dad before him, and the turtles saving April before him.

I think he'll become neutrual.
He will grow a grunge againts Donnie, thinking that becouse of him and the turtles he's now a monster. But he'll still be a good guy who wants to be a hero.

I really hope he's not a villain. The turtles need more allies! Right now all they've got (besides Splinter and April) is Metalhead (who isn't even a living thing) and Leatherhead. I'm not sure if Newtralizer will be a villain or ally so that's why I didn't mention him.

I really can't see Tim raging against the turtles, especially since Donnie made him that body! If he is going to be a villain then I hope we don't see him much.

Newtralizer is a bounty hunter and was seen eating a Kraang at SDCC so not sure as of yet though. Looks like Kirby is training to fight in the finale trailer. So the turtles have Splinter, April, Metalhead, Leatherhead and Kirby. This is why I would like Slash an ally too. Mutagen Man, Slash, Casey could be all allies in season 2.

I certainly do hope that Donnie can find a way to cure Timothy. It would be terrible if he remained in his current state for the rest of the series.
