I did get through nearly as many episodes. Each episode becomes roughly 15 minutes at 1.5x speed, so two episodes come out to half an hour. If you watch for at least 2 hours, you can get done with 10+ episodes depending how quick you watch them without breaks.

Unless it's a how to video, all youtube videos are better at 1.25 speed and I'd say a majority of them can be seen at 1.5 speed and they work perfect.
This is especially true since youtubers try to hit the 10 minute mark since youtube promotoes those videos more and the more watchtime is better for your analytics/monetization so you end up getting the information so much faster instead of the youtuber dragging things on and on. |

Podcast for me I listen to at 1.33x speed...it sounds fast at first but I find my brain eventually makes it sound normal.

netflix has the 1.5x-2x speed setting for all its shows, this is probably more common than people think. 2x speed is obviously way too fast, but 1.5x setting is just right.

Well over on Blu Ray someone made a topic about TV movie edits and stuff being sped up for tv airings came up. I looked it up and it is something that’s done to save time and add commercials. It’s about 7%. I have no idea what that speed equals or if every network does it.
I mentioned that in certain cases I DO watch movies through tv airings. I record them to skip commercials of course. Anyway I personally cannot notice it but I only watch whatever it is once and only in specific cases. Nothing R rated. Just family/cartoon movies. For example I’ve seen Aladdin (live action), Christopher Robin and Coco recently on Freeform. I assume nothing is cut out because they’re Disney movies on a Disney channel. I could be wrong but they already have a million commercials to drag it out so I cannot imagine anything is actually removed. Also watched Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom on FX because it’s not R but also I had noticed their airing of GB16 actually including deleted scenes to pad it out...so they probably did the same for JWFK. In general though I would never speed up anything on purpose.
