Didn't know you could get them in that size, I'll look for that, thanks.

I've been looking at the Mirage run listings. Did the comics get released in shops out of order sometimes? I can understand schedules being complicated when they brought in other people to do guest issues, but I'd still be surprised if they released them to stores out of order, such as this listing I found:
-E&L TMNT 36 (Aug 1991) -E&L TMNT 37 (Jun 1991) -E&L TMNT 38 (July 1991) Anyone collected Turtles comics back then and know if they got published out of order or not? |

Any idea what Stan Sakai charges for signatures?
Does he do little head sketches? Hes coming to a local con and I want to make sure i'm prepared for him. Thanks |

Generally, he does not. If you've got a few items or want a quick sketch, he may ask for a small donation to a local charity or the CBDLF.

I threw a $20 in his charity jar for some autographs and he signed a couple playmates Usagi toys with head sketches and then did a nice almost full body quick Usagi sketch on the inside of my hardcover Usagi/TMNT one shot. Turned out really nice! Super nice guy!

Seriously nobody knows why the IDW Collection Volume 4 is so pricy? Is it out of print? it's the only one from the series that is selling at crazy prices on amazon (And of course it's the one I'm trying to get).

Do you know how to visit the old Steve Murphy's blog where he shared information about the licensing from mirage? I know there is a site where you can read old post from non existent sites. Thing is, I want to read his post when he announced the Neca figures, specially the post where he shows the figures in single tube packages. Help is much appreciated.

I saw there is a smaller version of the 1990 Mirage movie adaptation. Anyone know more about it?

Hey Guys. Been away for a few years starting a family. I dropped all comics at the time. TMNT was the only one I missed, so I’m back and slowly catching back up.
My question is what is tmntu?I was looking at the chronological order to work out what issues I’m missing and I keep seeing tmntu. I can’t seem to find anything about it online it just links to TMNT universe. Any help is greatly appreciated, cheers |

It basically just fills in big story plots without having to take up space from the ongoing storyline. So it is "necessary reading", just happening between (or even during) some other issues. It's where we get Null introduced, or starting up the bigger inner conflicts on Burnow Island. Or filling us in on what Karai has been up to.
...Most would agree that you can just skip #18, but other than that, they just fill in some edges and introduce important characters/concepts.

TMNT Universe being the name of the series. It was basically IDW's Tales Of The TMNT.

Because this confused me. Here’s an example 2017: TMNT Universe #6 TMNT #66 "Teenage Mutant Ninja Pepperoni" TMNTU #10 "What is Ninja?" TMNTU #6-9 TMNT Universe #7-8 |

There's a "main story" followed up by a 1-2 page mini story.
Like in Tales of the TMNT.
