Smart Lair - airing today
Donnie's new artificial intelligence invention takes over the lair, and life isn't all pizza and back rubs for Raph, Mikey and Leo.

It's been confirmed Greg Cipes is voicing Donnie's invention Shelldon.

Might just be me, but I really feel like Smart Lair could have used being a bit longer. Not with more content, but stretching it out so it doesn't feel so rushed and packed so full of stuff that it feels like it has little time for most any of it.

Mostly it felt like the main point of this ep is to drive home that this Donnie is kind of an arrogant jerk.

On the positive... well, the Roombas were kinda funny though.



P.S. For the love of god can we drop the repeating use of certain soundbites. Such as Leo's "Oh-hoo yeah" once again in this one. (As well as certain repeated lines/sounds for the other three.)

Alright, not that entertaining. This is probably the most cliché episode so far and it doesn't do anything that unique. It's a nice touch that Greg voices Sheldon but the relative predictability makes this one fail to impress.

I think the Simpsons had a far better take on this idea and that was nearly 20 years ago.

Yeah I didn't care for this episode at all and a total waste of what could have been Metalhead.

I enjoyed this one, I liked the few references in this episode.

Ice Cream Kitty statue.

Hamato clan symbol on a sword.

Also Tang Shens name popped up in the video game. So maybe Lou Jitsu and Tang Shen worked together in movies.

The Ice Cream Kitty statue was unexpected. They even kept the design.

We still don't know that girl's name.

I thought the Foot Clan are just after armor pieces.

1. Actually, Montes Auction House is probably a reference to Sebastian Montes like Xever was.
2. I hope that means there won't be an actual Ice Cream Kitty in this show, that thing is an abomination.

Props again on less fear of female character inclusion, and a Foot recruit no less. Cool. But my god that girl is annoying, if she's not Karai that would be perfectly okay. Though if she's a recurring character I suspect it could still be revealed later that it's her...

Really, again with the wannabe Ren & Stimpy faces, and the little bit of somewhat Loony Toons-like stuff with Mikey... bleh.

After about a week I've finally been able to watch both episodes and I think I enjoyed Mikey's episode but because of how supportive his bros Leo and Donnie are of Mikey, thought that was cute. I also like how Donnie is admitting Leo is always right LOL.

I agree, I think all of this will be leading up to Shredder being brought back to life some how with the similar way the other muntants have been made making his orgin slightly different to his other versions. FYI I don't think this would be the first time Splinter/ Shredder didn't have a rivalry, I don't remember the 2003 series having it either but maybe it's been a while since I watched the series.

Also, did Leo just speak Spanish? It'd be great if he did more of that.

Over all, both episodes are ok. Next episode sounds more thrilling but I wish we'd get back to the so called story arc of this series.

Yes we had the rivality in all series and we have in this too. Only difference here is that when Yoshi left japan to espace from me and came to new york found a job as a actor in movies instead of living in the sewers but we fought again for tang shen and i killed her again like i did previously in 2012 and 1984.

Now that we have three on-screen Foot Clan members (other than the Origami Ninja obvs), I've begun wondering why none of them have names. Especially with the Brute and Lieutenant, they're important enough to where it would make sense for them to have names.

Are we going to eventually find out that their names are significant to TMNT lore or something, kind of like how this whole Lou Jitsu thing seems to be playing out? Are Brute, Lieutenant, and Recruit going to be Hun, Khan, and Jennika?

Throughout the whole episode, I thought LJ's Hot Soup was gonna be an N64-style game, but turns out it is more comparable to ColecoVision! I can totally believe that Mikey has no patience for sub-par graphics and Rage Quits without even giving the game a chance. Still, if they own a compatible gaming console, you would think they might have some idea how good or bad the game might look on the graphics spectrum. Maybe they use a Raspberry Pi-based custom rig that just so happens to accept almost any cartridge input?

Mikey has money in an online account ready for Buy It Now purchases?

Question:
The auction house doesn't ship Buy It Now orders?

Question:
The auction house is perfectly fine with buyers breaking n' entering to take the item after hours so long as they leave the receipt as proof of purchase?

Question:
Will Mikey's online e-commerce account receive any penalties for his antics? Will this ruin his chances to buy more online items in the future?
