Yugioh was a strange phenomenon alright. I'm not really a fan of the anime anymore, though I still like playing the video games.
Digimon was also a thing for a while. Tamers was a good series.

I liked the first two seasons of Digimon and watched a bit of Tamers, but lost interest in the series after that. Never had an interest in playing the games.

I also spent about 200 hours each on Pokemon Blue, Sapphire, LeafGreen and Platinum.

A great thing about ORAS is the Exp. All and gaining experience when you catch Pokémon. It makes grinding way more bearable and less time consuming than in other Pokémon games.

The game I've spent the most time on is probably Marvel Super Heroes on my Saturn.
I've spent countless hours playing it over the years. It's my go to game whenever I'm bored or have nothing else to play. And I never get tired of it.

Heck, I've even got Shuma's sprite from it as my sig.

Found it. I'd stashed it away in a folder so I guess I never thought about it.

By and far the longest game played on 3DS was Animal Crossing: New Leaf at 145:32. Played 293 times with an average play time of 29 minutes.

Follow-up is 70:27 in for Smash.

I got 63:58 in for Smash myself. It's my 3rd most played game on the 3DS.

Ah **** it. Will just make a top 5:

1st - Animal Crossing: New Leaf: 181:07
2nd - Pokémon Omega Ruby: 73:39
3rd - Super Smash Bros: 63:58
4th - Ace Attorney Trilogy: 58:56
5th - Tomodachi Life: 53:19 ... don't judge

In 6th comes Ocarina of Time 3D with 32:03

I don't generally put in enough hours to complete a 9-12 hour game, so I'll probably be pulling from my childhood mostly..

Metal Gear Solid (PS1) I played religiously.
Smackdown: Here Comes In The Pain (PS2) definitely got the most hours banked for a wrestling game.
Twisted Metal 2 (PS1) still holds up as a fun challenging multiplayer game.
For that matter, ditto for Twisted Metal: Black (PS2).
Star Wars: Battlefront (PS4) says I have over 80 hours of play since it came out, which is probably the longest lifespan of any current gen game I've played.

I've also played through Life Is Strange (PS4) 3 times, so that's a decent amount of hours.

But by far the grandaddy of'em all in my life has to be Star Craft: Brood War (PC). Played the ever-living-sh*t out of it for years growing up. Still haven't even tried SC2 yet. Don't really feel like going out of my way to try to, either.

9-12 hours games? You can't possibly be referring to modern games.

Oh I did play HCTP a lot back in the day. Same for Shut Your Mouth. I also put lots of hours into Day of Reckoning 2(the story mode was hard) and SD vs. Raw 2006.

I had 181 on New Leaf when I made this thread. nowadays I have 289 hours on it. I also played SSB Melee for the first time in years a few weeks ago and had about 109 hours on it. Also, I checked on Steam recently that I apparently have 104 hours or so on Adventure Capitalist and 190 on Civilization V. ****ing Civ games, man

A friend and I once spent a total of 60 hours on a runthrough of the original Final Fantasy. I have also spent around 40-50 hours on Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, and around 20-30 on Ff VII and VIII.

World of WarCraft - 3 years and counting.

One single playthrough - Genius of Sappheiros (JRPG) - about 300 hours (took me about 5 months to complete it).

I played that game often when I was a kid but never for too long because it was so hard, so I usually died pretty early or on the dam level. I revisited the game in my late teens and got past the dam level and made it to the airport.

No idea how many hours I might have on it, but no way do they come close to 100. Maybe 40 at best.

300 hours?! How big is that RPG in terms of story? Does it have a lot of side-quests and other extra-content or something?

I dunno overall but in MK11 it says that I've run over 400 hours. Most of that may have been in my sleep and running the AI towers, though.
