LOL, we're literally at the end of the 2010's decade already. I feel like 2010 was just yesterday.

Still a bit far. It only ends on December 31st 2019. That's over two years from now, and by then I'll be 29. Don't rush it, man!

Dunno about 2010, but 2014 feels like yesterday as does 2012 to some degree.

I actually look through some of my older posts/threads on forums like this one and others on IGN, then I look at the date and it says "2011" or "2013" or so...and I'm like, "What the hell? I remember making this topic like it was just a few months ago or something."

Forums are making me feel old as hell.

But really, man, when did you start getting so obsessed with the passage of time? You weren't like this back when I joined this place. It wasn't until you made this thread that you became very obsessed about time and ageing. It's been 3 years already so that's a little too long for a shtick ain't it? I'm starting to believe that you're actually worried about the passage of time. Are you going through some quarter life depression or something? You're always telling us about how good your life has been and how you never had any major issues yet turning 30 seems to have affected you a lot. So what is it, man? What is the big deal, exactly?

It's as they said, 30 is a huge milestone. When I was here years ago I was still in my early and mid 20's like yourself, so I didn't really think about it much.

It's once you near 30 and pass it, the "alarm bells" start ringing off and you realize 1/3rd of your life is over already, so you better get a move on with whatever you intend to do for the rest of your life. Trust me when you get close to 30 you'll be worried as well.

Early/mid 20s? I'm 26 and turning 27 in November, so wouldn't mid/late 20s be more appropriate? It might be mid but it sure ain't "early" anymore hahah

Well I do worry about possible health tolls and if I'll have a decent career by the time I'm 35-36, sure. But again, you seem to be fine with your life overall and I'm guessing whatever job you have pays you well enough to buy all of those games and DVDs/Blu Rays and comics you own. So I don't know what your problem is exactly.

I thought it would be worse for women, because if they want to have kids, you better do it before you hit 40. For men, you can basically produce kids at any age with a partner.

All attempts at suicide have failed so I decided to suck it up and keep going.

What?! Why would you try to do something like that?

Why? Janet Jackson had a child and she's 50. We can have kids until we hit menopause. My grandmother had my father in her 40s...although my father was a total surprise.

Lol its just my dark humor. As I approach 40, I look less and less forward to getting older and eventually dying.

But as for 30... eh idk. It sucks. It made me depressed. But then I went back to watching anime and whatever. The coolest thing about being my age is being around back in the 80s/90s. People can talk about it all day but nothing beats actually living it.

Oh, should've guessed.
Just didn't want to lose a fellow TMNT fan, and was worried to hear about one going through hard enough times to end up in a situation like that.

I'll be turning 30 in less than two months. Born the year of the FW show. There's someone who I went to college went who was already in his early thirties and he looks young and full of energy that you kinda forget that he's in the age range. I'm hoping I turn out like him.

The thing that gets to me though is whenever I see my friends from High School married and have kids, I feel awkward that I haven't been in a single relationship yet. I'm not quite ready for a child yet as I'm still one at heart but I feel that I've waited for a very long time for that special someone and I'm already nearing thirty soon. I enjoy the single life as I can focus on myself but I also feel envy for those who have someone.

I'm not worried about marriage or kids because I don't want any of it to be honest. I'm happy not being tied down with stuff like that and I probably wouldn't be good at it anyway. I'm in a relationship and I feel that even if it doesn't last, I'll be fine being single and alone. I prefer solitude anyway.

A certain fellow Dromer told me in confidence that he believes Cubed is likely just being a troll. Then again, it's kinda hard to tell, especially considering how he's really nothing but a screen name to us and a screen shot of Fred Wolf Shredder from a scene in Turtles Forever. For all we know Cubed really is just socially awkward, kinda like Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory... only way worse!!!

My mom had me at around 38-39 which was fairly late. She had my brother at 31 or so.

Ofc he trolls a lot but he's been doing this on the internet for nearly two decades now. Doesn't he get bored?

I don't know what you're implying. This is my normal personality.
