The Purple Jacket
An evil tech club lures Donnie with the promise of a gorgeous purple jacket.

Pizza Pit
It’s Pizza Week, the greatest week of the year, but the Turtles’ favorite pizza joints keep getting taken out.

Gotta be honest, usually it's cute, but these Turtles do not look too great sans masks... Although I liked Leo's PJs. Naked-looking Donnie in contrast however...

Well, I give this show props on actually making female mutants more of a norm and not the rare exception to the rule. Even if they were kind of annoying.

So... Donnie has gained 2012 Mikey's belief in imaginary creatures? (I know, I know, it showed up at the end, but like we'll ever see it again.)

Originally thought he may have been one of the better characters in this series and the most intact, but with some of the past eps after seeing both of these eps, this Donnie is starting to get annoying in some ways, to be honest.

I think I've had my fill of wannabe "Ren & Simpy" faces for one series.

Since they used it again, if we don't see those suited up Turtles as figures in stores eventually I'll be surprised.

edit: Oh and I must not forget the pics of 2012 Turtles from seires, costumes, and the crossover '87 TMNT, which was kinda cool. lol

Not the worst eps, but... meh. Watched the pizza one first, figuring I'd like the other one better since it was actually Purple Dragon themed not just pizza themed, but honestly... the pizza one was funner imo, if still a nothing ep.

Someone out there is so going to ship one of the Turtles with one of those band girls by next weekend, mark my words... lol

Both of these ep segments were weird and kinda lame. Honestly prefer the purple dragons as a gang than some high school club although the tech bit is a cool take but that can be mixed in with the gang aspect. Dont really have much to say on the pizza 1.

I haven't watched it yet but I was surprised to see this listed on my Amazon video. Weird that it just dropped online. I wonder if that was planned or not.

The Purple Jacket was okay but Pizza Pit was just boring. I did like the interaction between Don and April how he was constantly blaming her for his faults.

All I have to say about these two episode is: annoying and boring. I hated the new concept of the Purple Dragons, jeez I guess they needed to include a tech gang so it would appeal to this new generation of kids?
I liked that scene were Leo appears to check on Don wearing his pajamas.

As for Donnie's episode I found him very amusing and cute. I mean, he is a genius who has self taught all about everything... and yet he envy the other kids who can actually go to school!

I mean, the guy isn't exactly wearing pants either. You'd think it might be rather noticeable. lol

Saw what the purple dragons looked like on the Nick TMNT twitter.The Purple Dragons are supposed to be a street gang not beret wearing tech kids. Adds The Purple Dragons to my list of things Rise as ruined. I really hope Casey doesn't show up on this show.
