Looks like my Wal-Mart has joined others in ditching the Turtles line. Literally just had Mutant XLs left and they were grouped with all of the other figures of similar size.

Bugs me something awful because I've never even seen singlecard Samurai Usagi, Monster Hunter Raph/Leo, or the Bebop and Rocksteady line anywhere yet.

@DVD did your black outfit Usagi come in a regular figure packaging?

Same here. Never saw a monster hunter or wanted series here.

Oh okay. Because the only release of that figure here was an extremely limited and expensive one exclusively from Sakai himself. I would not have been disappointed to get a regular release or even one loose.

I’ll see what I can arrange

And here’s the pic :

All figures (except talking Don) are the new paint ups (Ok, cept TigerClaw),
April is the most obvious with a new shirt. The Ninja Shout figures all have the colored pads. I got an extra Don to retail a full set. He didn’t come in the new batch.
Rhazar is cool in the green. Casey with removable mask is neat.
I chickened out of the repaint of Muckman. I was about to start when my art teacher mate asked to do it coz he thought it was a cool project. He then said bluntly that he at least wouldn’t mess it up!!! I had to agree and left it with him. He said he’d have it completed by Friday!!

DVD, those repaints saw wide release here in the US already. They've been in stores since spring 2017. They've been discussed in this thread quite a bit and were shown at Toy Fair 2017.

The complete list of them, 20 in all:

Battle Shell Leonardo (black belt, blue weapons)
Battle Shell Donatello (black belt, purple weapons)
Battle Shell Michelangelo (black belt, orange weapons)
Battle Shell Raphael (black belt, red weapons)
Jokester Mikey (wave 1 sculpt, pupils, orange belt)
Tech Donnie (wave 1 sculpt, pupils, purple belt)
Hothead Raph (wave 1 sculpt, pupils, red belt)
Mighty Leo (wave 1 sculpt, pupils, blue belt)
Rookies in Training Leo & Donnie (green ooze-splashed legs/torso)
Rookies in Training Mike & Raph (green ooze-splashed legs/torso)
Sensei Splinter (blue kimono)
Rebel April O'Neil (yellow leggings, black shirt)
Renegade Casey Jones (gray shoulder straps, reddish brown pants)
Brute Shredder (gold armor)
Ragin' Leatherhead (orange pads)
Lethal Robotic Foot Soldier (gold accessories)
Mastermind Baxter Fly (blue shirt & wings)
Toxic Mutagen Man (green limbs)
Fierce Fishface (blue legs/headgear, gold chestplate & accessories)
Savage Rahzar (green claws/bones)

Many, but not all, can be seen here:

https://playmatestoys.com/brands/tee...ction-figures/

Usagi had a total of 5 different releases:

Standard Usagi (blue kimono on card)
Samurai Usagi (gold/brown samurai armor on card)
Samurai Usagi w/Horse (silver samurai armor in box with horse)
SDCC 2017 Exclusive Usagi (blue kimono, painted weapons, extra heads and accessories, in display box)
Stan Sakai Web Shop Exclusive Usagi (black kimono, painted weapons, in display box, with optional Sakai artwork/signature)

I have seen some pretty amazing Muckman re-paints on Instagram. Here's one:

Good luck with your own repaint, maybe show that to your friend to point him in the right direction??

There was also a Mutant XL size Usagi.

But yeah, I checked some local Targets and Walmarts around me and there was no TMNT figures anywhere. The Muckman will become the new "Scratch" figure.

Yeah, with the range essentially finished, Iím catching up on these repainted figures to retain a complete collection of the 2012 figures.
That Muckman repaint is awesome. I was aiming for a paint app that modeled the prototype pics. Iíll srnd my mate the pic you linked to .... I canít see him doing that in afternoon !! Haha!!
That said, we have some really tanented students who probably could.

I saw them as another fun throwback to the vintage line, don't mind them at all - in fact I kind of want to buy more of those figures just to have extra day-glo weapons!

It's pretty sad. I've been collecting this line since they debuted in 2012ish. I don't live in a big area, so we only have a couple stores where I could find TMNT, but it always seemed to get the newest waves. I'm only missing a couple figures and vehicles for a complete set. I'll probably have to get them online, but i'll miss scouring the shelves for new figs.

80s garb BB n RS !!!
I was more than pleasantly surprised. These guys are great!!!

Happy to have them out and on display, but I am thinking of getting another pair to keep in packs.

Just visited the playmates site: the Turtles pages are gone, completely.
I wonder if it’s being updated, a glitch, or the line has actually been dropped!!

Muckman. Painting project :
Currently looking like this after some detailing today.

Eyes and mouth touch up tomorrow.
I want to dirty up the sewer lid and add slime to it before re-attaching .

Wait...yours has a sewer lid?

The figure released over here in the US did NOT, to all of our dismay. At least none of the 3 of them that I found had a sewer lid. Yours did??? And it was detachable????

I know the one I showed you from Instagram had one, but I figured the customizer added it (or maybe had gotten ahold of a prototype).

Sorry for any anxiety!!!
I added a sewer lid from the half shell heroes van. Perfect size.
My mate doesnít have that yet, and I plan to do the extra work to that, as it totally sets old muck man off !!
Ad released, itís very lazy, with more detailing than any other figure released.
And then, the result: not realizing itís own potential !!
