I think they will be focused on the rise of the turtles line, so I don't expect anything new. They should present in a month the new figures to the retailers at nytf so in my opinion they will no lose a minute in a line from 2012.

Yes. Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, Donatello, April, and Splinter. Most likely Shredder, a Foot Soldier, and whatever new mutants are in the new show.

I just read the new show will start in September. I’m curious if this Summer would be to early for toy releases? I read about the September first episode here.

The 2012 show was started in September too, and the toys were released in May-June, if I'm not wrong.

we should see a release of the new rise toys late spring early summer to drum up attention for the new show as itll start early fall. I dont see them dropping new stuff right at the same time, theyre going to want attention on the new show going in.

I honestly wouldnt be surprised if we see some stuff at London or New York Toy fair in Jan/Feb, even if it's just a few items.

Maybe it means they will be rolling out some new figures early. Wouldn't suprise me though if we some other playmates lines take that space. Voltron and Ben 10 come to mind. I would think doing that would make it fairly easy to reclaim the space for TMNT when the line does come out.
Keep in mind that playmates has several other product lines in the big box stores. They will still get shelf space. Many people may not realize that Voltron is a Playmates product for instance- a few others too that would be in the same aisle as TMNT.

If I recall correctly, we saw the 2012 figures during the summer of 2012 so I’d say shortly would be more like a month or two before the Rise premiere(unless my memory got that bad in 6 years).

I remember the 2k3 series toys came out in late 2002, around 5 months before the series did.

The TMNT are mentioned on the Toy Fair London website (under Flair).

I doubt we will get to see the new Rise toys though.
