TMNT: Arcade Attack
http://www.amazon.com/TMNT-2-Nintend...0935935&sr=1-1
I know this is far from absolute proof, as I've seen some funky things listed on Amazon that never came to pass (Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires was once listed as being on Wii, for example). But this is kind of interesting nevertheless.

I can't bring myself to think anything better than, "That must be a misprint." However, I would love to see another side-scrolling beat 'em up like TMNT'07 on GBA.

Actually Ubisoft mentioned doing a sequel to TMNT that took place in the movie universe but was a totally new story. I'm pretty sure that project turned into Smash Up though. That was probably true but I'm not so sure it is anymore.

This is probably just a mistake, but I noticed that a Dutch website has a listing for Smash Up on the DS, coming out in November.

There's something on Ubisoft site about it:
http://www.ubi.com/ES/Games/Info.aspx?pId=8085 It's in spanish, I can't get the english page work, but if you check out the official page of it, or the wii or ps2 versions, it's Smash-Up. Interesting. |

From what I understand, TMNT:Arcade Attack is going to be a collection of the TMNT arcade games just released on the Wii (about time). I don't think it's the re-shelled edition of TMNT in Time. I think it's just being ported over from the arcade.

Google Translate says about Arcade Attack:
A BRAWL WITH STYLE NINJA Relive the classic fighting the Turtles in the streets, sewers and rooftops of New York. The enemies and their weapons will be difficult to beat but the Turtles have Master Splinter and hard training that makes them incredibly strong. Evil never rests, but also the Turtles! COMBAT TEAM You are never alone, always have one of your brothers fighting on your side. Each turtle has its own strengths and weaknesses, so choose your team well. Play with a friend via Wi-Fi or just against the machine. ORIGINAL STORY to a whole new story of the Turtles through animated comic style with epic battles. Follow the Turtles and Shredder revenge beneath the surface of NYC. NEW WAYS TO BATTLE Or dare to Head mode and repeat all your battles against the bosses over and over again, or fight against waves of enemies with no limit on the Survival mode. And finally, if you want to fight against time, choose how to spend stages the levels as quickly as possible.

As of right now, TMNT 1 on NES is the only available game for download on the Wii virtual console. Everything we're talking about now is a future release.

As you can see above, Arcade Attack isn't a compilation disc, but is a completely new game.

Sounds like this might be a successor to the GBA game. If so, I can't wait. I've been wanting them to do that.

the X to jump thing seems a bit unorthodox. Usually B or A are used to jump. Seems to me that B for Jump Y and A for attacks and X to block is more reasonable than Y Block X Jump B & A for attacks
