Ghostbusters: The Game is ALIVE!!!
http://gameinformer.com/News/Story/2...1221.16217.htm
OMFG! YES! YES! YES! They're all involved too! Not just with voice-overs, but even script writing! HOLY SH*T, YES! I thought this whole project was killed when ZootFly let out that they hadn't even acquired the Ghostbusters license, but with all the press that went out about it, I'm not surprised someone decided to run with it. This is f*cking fantastic. |

For real this time? Sounds great, but I'll believe it when I see it.

I believe it, because Game Informer is known for pulling out these insane exclusive first-looks.

Looks like I'll be buying my first issue of Game Informer in over five years.
Ghostbusters hasn't had a very good history in the world of video games. I've never played one that was actually...fun. Still, this one could be a first. Even if the game totally blows I'll buy it. At this point I'm starving for anything Ghostbusters. |

I'm just a little saddened it's coming to all next gen systems but coming to the PS2, as well. The other versions better not suffer because of that. If anything, however, it'll most likely affect the Wii version...

It's in the top right corner of the cover. The little red part.

That's what I mean. It sucks that it's coming to PS2 and possibly mess stuff for the graphics of the other consoles.

You got that right! It seems like they're making all the right moves thus far...except for the development team. Apparently, Terminal Reality is doing the honors...makers of such critical acclaimed titles as BloodRayne 2, Aeon Flux and RoadKill...yeah. That's pretty f*cking bad. Let us all pray that being given such a huge license, and having so many people on-board with the project, that they're going to make a game worth playing.

I'll likely just get the Wii and DS versions since I don't have a PS3 (but if anything can convince me to throw down the wad of cash for one, it's Ghostbusters).
The Wii version is being done by Red Fly, but I couldn't find much about what games they've done online. |

I can see this them instilling this thing with great production values but totally dropping the ball in the gameplay department. Sort of like Enter the Matrix.
You know it'll happen. |
