I've known him a lot longer than I've known you, hepcat.
This place is a lot more fun when Andrew's properly motivated. And when it's after 11am Pacific. Because by then he's drunk.

You know, I'm not really a Mirage purist or whatever, I far prefer the IDW version but when they inevitably reboot the comics again (which I REALLY hope isn't any time soon) I think I could be on board with this. After the IDW run, they're probably going to have to differentiate themselves a lot from that version if they want to pull off something new and interesting. Creating a new run that feels more like Mirage, but pulls elements from the later versions could be really good. I know it's not what a lot of Mirage fans have in mind but I think it'd probably be the best we could get, far better than going the Rise route with the comics too.

Sure, as I said, take some elements from all of the versions, that's fine, but make it mostly based on Mirage. That's what I'm suggesting here.

Nah we should have all of them wear red bandanas. Either make it full Mirage or not.
Drunk motivation? No wonder he always looks angry in his profile pics. |

Out of curiosity, what's the deal with the red bandannas? Is there any particular reason why people want them back so much other than that they were a thing back in Mirage? I might be missing something obvious here but I just never got the point.

It's not a necessity but it'd be nice to show some appreciation for the source that gave birth to this property. Last edited by LeotheLateBloomer; 02-01-2019 at 03:13 PM. |

Sometimes, the Turtles' weapons can't really be seen, Hell, sometimes they might not even be carrying them. The bandannas make it way easier to differentiate it. Sure, I COULD be able to tell who's who most of the time, but sometimes, when I look at a panel, I want to immediately know whose voice I should be reading the text in, if you get what I'm trying to say. It's just a lot more convenient and, while I do get the brothers shtick, I think the convenience is just more important to me personally. And besides, call me crazy but I really like the bandannas being different colored aesthetically as well. |

It would be awesome if they would use them on missions and then used the colorized ones when they are being social with others like April, Mutanimals ect.....
