Wolverine might be the first superhero to have a trilogy made entirely of terrible movies.

Origins: Wolverine? F
The Wolverine? F
<Wolverine 3>? ... Odds ain't looking good.

I liked the second Wolverine film... even if the ending was like a boss battle out of a video game.

That's the problem, both movies have really good stuff in them.

Wolverine Origins, Logan and Victor were both perfect. I LOVED Sabretooth in it.

The Wolverine's first two thirds are brilliant; but as soon as Wolverine wins the katana duel, the movie falls apart. Taken down by ninjas with arrows, fight a giant samurai robot, lose your adamantium... idiotic.

I really would have loved to have seen Darren Aronofsky's "The Wolverine." We would've, if Fukushima hadn't have happened. Aronofsky really hasn't ever gone wrong in my eyes.

I'd love your thoughts on "Noah."

Kind of funny to think that Wolverine 3 isn't even in the same timeline as the previous 2. And yes, let's have X-23's big introduction be decades into the future so the core movies can't use her...

God, these movies are garbage.

That is an amazing poster.

But...

First two outings sucked, can we really expect one good movie in this terrible trilogy? We can but hope.

Were Wolverine 1 and 2 even in the same continuity? They can't be, right, because Wolverine 1 (Origins) doesn't fit into the same timeline as the original trilogy, which is what Wolverine 2 (The) takes place after.

So each movie in the "trilogy" is in its own continuity.

The entire Fox X-Men universe is GARBAGE.

All of Wolverine Origins was canon until DofP retconned everything from the 70s on up... but DofP didn't happen until after The Wolverine. The mid-credits thing in The Wolverine set up DofP, even (although... very, very strangely). So now we're getting "The Final Wolverine Movie," yet this is the first time we've seen Wolverine in this timeline beyond his "awakening" at the end of DofP.

And what happens to the Wolverine that Wolverine left in the 70s when he awakened in the near future at the end of DofP? From the 70s-now, he was just keeping the original Wolverine's brain warm for him to come back, then gets wiped out again? That's kind of f***ed up.

It's all rubbish. F*** these movies.

Some people think that X-Men Origins is a fever dream Wolverine had one night, lol

I thought the second Wolverine film was good. Not as good as it could have been, but for FoX-Men it was pretty high-tier. Which I know isn't saying much.

Man, and I thought Homecoming was a bold move...

Logan? Ok.

They should rename Defenders "Matt & Jess & Luke & Dan".
