It almost seems like they 'Shopped her head onto an athlete or something to make her look tougher.

Even though the reboot version's character design is leaner and lither than her busty older sister, she was never that buff.

That poster is the very definition of overworked.

I really like the reboot games, but Lara is definitely a different character. She's too down to earth. OG Lara was a total one-percenter and a bit of a jerk, which I find more interesting than what they're doing now.

True. I just remember the training missions in the old games... where you have to shuffle around your giant mansion's equally giant training area, while your butler waits on you.

Looks like they gave her the double pistols and the braid. I don't know everything about this franchise, but the story looks like it may take elements from the classic and newer iterations.

I wonder if she'll end up shooting a deer for food like in the first level of the 2014 game.

Why does she have to "save the world"? Is that necessary to sell the movie? IN that case it really is like the other Tomb Raider films. Why can't it just be her tale of survival like in the game.

Movie looks ok, could go either way but still that isn't Lara Croft and that isn't Tomb Raider.

Not at all. She looks like a younger, slimmer somewhat less attractive version of Rhona Mitra, or like... Katie Holmes' sister or something.

This full trailer seems decent. Yeah, dumb that she needs to "save the world." That's not something you do in a Tomb Raider story.

1. I really hate the generic action movie trailer.

2. This movie looks very typical to me. Not interested.

3. I'm not the target audience, though... wonder what my wife or sisters will think?
