Because I don't really support factory model toys, because God forbid a toy looks like a toy. Anyway, I got the 2014 Assault Van almost fully complete minus the wench for ridiculously low price, and instead of just using it as is, I decided to strip it down, disassemble it and repaint completely. Eventually I add a few things to the interior (because I tore out most of the action-y feature parts), and I'm thinking about adding some bullet holes and such.

Massive improvement!

I got the 2015 Nick Party Wagon in a trade, never opened it, and finally retuned it to a store 'cause I never know how to go about utilizing vehicles in photos.

...then last night I started looking at some random gear and accessories that might look cool inside the van.

...and I went back to the store today and got it.

I'll keep you posted if I get anything useful out of it. Not that it isn't a pretty great vehicle as-is.

I've always wanted to have a little gear inside the vans instead of the empty space there, it's kind of hard though to work on the interior and still leave some viable space, I'm hoping I can figure something out. Another key reason I'm trying to get it situated and get some kind of process is that when I get the Figuarts Turtles coming out, I'm going to have to convert a Cowabunga Carl van into a Party Wagon, the exterior I can do, the interior will be a bit trickier. I figure though, since I am drastically decreasing toy purchases, limiting figures to more Collector oriented stuff, the Figuarts and hopefully First Gokin Krang will all be had this year since it's my final semester of Nursing School I should be employed by November, I'll have to really key in to vehicle and display customizing.

Anyway, I actually like the design of the Nick Van, I hope you figure something out, then again you typically do accessorizing well.

The Cowabunga Carl van is by far the best of the bunch. If memory serves it already has some cool gear in the back, too.

Yeah, the back of them all is pretty cramped, especially the Party Wagon. I've resigned myself to tackling this one for fun, not for photos. We'll see.

Looking forward to seeing those higher-end figures in your photos!

I'm mostly hoping that the newer figures will scale well with my current lair, I think they will with a lot of it, though not necessarily all the furniture, but we'll see.

Classictvtoys.com has a new van all cast in one solid color aside from the roof which is cast in a seperate color for 40 bucks. It's for 8 inch figures and it's pretty basic but it could make for a nice base for a turtle van. I'm seriously considering buying one but the 40 dollar price point is a bit off putting plus I have some other projects left to finish.

That's pretty cool. Though I've actually gotten pretty far with the Cowabunga Carl Van, it's scaled well for 6 inch figures. I've got some odds and end pieces still in the mail, but I'm about 80% done with it.

Found these little Barbie accessory packs and one of them had sushi and chopsticks. So I had to check how it scaled.

High Three on the almost completion of Party Wagon 1.0, one of these days I plan to revisit this vehicle with a bit higher caliber work.

Updated photo of the Lair

B&W...because there is much to be repainted, but I won't have the time until this semester ends.
