I always wondered what was up with the 'SID' on his shirt.

Anyone know where we can buy a replica shirt? There's one that's $200 online. (Not that one lol)

You bumped a thread from almost 15 years ago to ask that?

Good luck finding one for cheaper than that unfortunately. I'm a huge Sex Pistols/Sid Vicious fan and collector and pretty much anything earlier than late 90s and early 2000s is hard to find and going to be expensive. I believe the couple shirts Danny wears are actually pretty early 80s shirts from a few years after Sid passed. That's part of why they are so expensive. Every now and then you'll find cheaper versions or knock off/replicas but even those go for quite a bit. If you find any let me know!

It's relevant. If they had made a new topic someone would have said "There's already a topic about this shirt".

It's no like the bump was a reply to something from 2003 or something innane like "I like this shirt."

I don't see the problem with the bump.

I recall hearing an audio interview years ago with the actor Michael Turney talking about his early years and how he was into punk rock music and how he spoke with Steve Barron at length about bringing a "punk feel" to the 1990 movie because it was about wayward youths and how Barron basically told him that he could "dress punk" but that a punk soundtrack probably wouldn't happen and that maybe a Sex Pistols song would end up on the soundtrack album. It didn't. Apparently Turney was going to wear a lot more "punk" clothing but it was Barron who suggested the Sid shirt because in Britain where Barron was from there was nothing as punk as the image of Sid Vicious.

By 1988 punk was pretty much dead or dying as far as 80s culture was concerned.

So we can bump up old threads from decades ago now? If that's the case, I'm going to dig up some ancient thread at some point and bump it up too. I'll have to find a good one though.

I am making some. In the final design stages now. Hoping to have a prototype in my hands over the coming weeks.
