Your Zodiacs ^u^
Here are some links to various Zodiacs, and I think it'd be fun to see all the different kinds here at the Drome. If you already know yours just feel free to put 'em down. =3 (if we think that this probably belongs in that all about you thread, or if it's in the wrong section, let me know, and I'll ask a mod to move it, or they can move it themselves. Whatever works best.)
Zodiac sign dates Celtic Animal Zodiac Chinese Zodiac Native American Animal Zodiac Flower Zodiac (Most likely will be different from your birth flower by month. For instance my birth flower is the Lily, but my zodiac flower is different.) Mine Zodiac sign: Taurus Celtic: Cow/Bull Chinese: Rat Native American: Beaver Flower: Poppy I can't wait to see all o' yours!

We're close in date so very similar.
Taurus Cow/Bull Sheep Beaver Poppy Most of all, a proud Taurus, both an Earth sign and born on Earth Day. Heh, looked at the date on your profile, I think you share what is supposedly the Turtles' birthday (or public birthday/anniversary), lucky. |

Celtic zodiac? Wuuuuut lol
My zodiacs :3 Zodiac sign: Aries Celtic: Cow/Bull Chinese: Fire Rabbit <3 Native American: Falcon Flower: Honeysuckle I don't believe in horoscopes, but they are still fun to read. Thank you LL for all the links. I had fun reading about different zodiacs from other cultures. The Chinese one describes me best. I also liked the Honeysuckle and Cow. My Native American horoscope makes me sound like an a-hole. |

No it doesn't. In my opinion, falcons are really cool birds.
Being a Falcon sounds better than being a Pigeon. Unless you're Pigeon Pete. Called it.

For sure falcons are incredible birds :3 But its the description that's got me all "Left to his/her own devices, the Falcon can be vain, rude, intolerant, impatient, and over-sensitive." Gee, thanks lol! ...Oops. My reaction might've been a little sensitive haha

I think the "left to his/her own devices" is the negative parts for all. I got "nervous, cowardly, possessive, arrogant, and over-demanding."

Zodiac - Gemini
Celtic - Seahorse Chinese - Boar Native - Deer Flower - Lavender I agree a lot with the Seahorse, ... I've got a book about 'Gemini's' how "Two-Faced" we can be, that's kind of true in certain events, though. When I'm busy and people keep calling me, I have to look forward and put a smile on my face and say very cheerfully: 'Yeeeeees?' - my mother thinks I'm about to kill someone when I do that. lol - I guess it's kind of true for everyone to have two identities, the one you are showing and the one you don't want to show to anyone ...

Interesting topic. I'm a free spirit no matter how you try to peg me, and my signs show it. Being Wiccan, I have a more than passing interest and knowledge in various zodiacs, some more than others. Here are mine!
Western aka Greek- Sagittarius. Yup, I'm an Archer. This is a Fire sign, mutable, volatile, and adaptable. We are honest, open, adventurous and versatile, also VERY opinionated and passionate about what we believe. Intellectual, and can make great leaders, but are also extremely independent, and don't like to be tied down. Can sometimes be procrastinators. Creative, intuitive, studious, and love nature and exercise, as well as travel and parties equally. Sort of the "jack of all trades" of the Zodiac. My Celtic- Hawk. I'm not as familiar with this one, though it's not much different. Philosophical, open-minded, and able to see all sides of an issue, but still very opinionated, with a strong sense of balance and integrity. Philanthropic and generous. I will also add that my hubby is an otter- playful, fun-loving, and adventurous, as well as gentle and sensitive. We fit well together because of this. Chinese- Dragon. Not just ANY dragon, but a Fire Dragon, which makes me a "pure" fire sign! This makes both my Western and Chinese signs more potent, being a stronger aspect than either would be if my element were different. Dragons are already one of the most "powerful" signs, and being magnified by the combined fire elements just increases the strength of both. However, it also makes the sign more volatile and prone to strong emotions. Not violent per se, but they can have outbursts of temper that can be frightening! N.A- Owl. Oddly, this one is the exact opposite of what one might expect. They are adventurous, sensitive, and easy-going, but can also be careless, reckless, or overindulgent. They are adaptable and can be enthusiastic. This is very different from the owl's usual associations of wisdom, knowledge, and calm reserve. In other cultures, the owl represents the feminine power of the moon, intellectualism, and protection. Here, it is more of a "free spirit". Flower- Narcissus. Philosophical, direct, honest, and have a sensitive side. Can come on strong, but enjoy sharing knowledge with others, are to the point, and trustworthy. Imaginative and a bit of a dreamer. This is my birth flower; my stones are turquoise/blue topaz, which are very different in meaning. Blue Topaz is an airy stone that represents intellect, clarity, and peace. It calms the emotions and promotes healing. Turquoise is earthy, grounded, and represents protection, courage, happiness, and health. My other half is a Pisces Wood Rabbit in his Western/Chinese signs, making him a Wood/Water sign. Which is funny, considering my fire element is directly opposed to BOTH of his! By all rights, we should make a very explosive combination, but in fact, we tend to balance each other, and only boil over or burn each other up on rare occasions. My dragon is dominant over his rabbit, but we work well together in spite of this. Probably because he's content to let me be me, and as a dragon, I like being in control, which he doesn't mind.

I do know that I'm born in the year of the Hare and by the standard idea of the Zodiac I am a Scorpio. But, those signs are a wee bit outdated since things don't stay still in space, something that wasn't accounted for when people created the Zodiac. So I'm actually a Libra (1st-23rd November).
But in the grand scheme, it doesn't really matter. |
