I'd suggest setting up a chat time, like a "chat night". I've done that before on some fangroups, where we'd either meetup in the msgboard's chat client, or a freebie chatroom like TinyChat (the latter is nicer since it allows text-chatting, voice-chatting, and video-sharing/video-chatting).

I'd be down for it. A few of us tried to get something going a few years ago but it failed on day 1.
 If nothing else I just tell my forum friends to add me on FB or Skype or whatever. At least from there you can form group chats & whatnot. Plus, it's easier to be directly in contact with someone that way, as most folks always use those services, whereas you never know when a person might come on the boards.

Skype would be cool. My FB is mainly for classmates and family--I hardly go on it.

If anyone wants my Skype just ask. I do standard text IMs and I'm also usually available for voice calls too. And as Powder said, yeah, I'm one of those that's always online.
